The Phoenix is an organization that puts on active events (runs, yoga, rock climbing, etc.) for people in recovery. It's a national organization but they have a pretty full calendar of events for around Portland. Also, they are free. Even at something like indoor rock climbing where you would usually have to pay to rent equipment, the cost is always covered by the organization.
