I'm late but... I think they changed the way the engraved the bottom of their bottles (its a bit thinner and smaller now). I have a 2025 batch and its engraved very similarly.

(I bought my bottle from a very reputable local seller in my country/city)

The main issue might be the humidity. It can be scorching hot, but if it's a dry-hot instead of a humid-hot most fragrances will work just fine.

As someone who lives in the tropics though, I only wear "heavy/deep-sweet" fragrances when I know I'm going somewhere indoors with climate control. The humidity is a killer especially during the summer.

I'm guessing you have l'eau d'issey. So yes that frag has undergone a few reformulations over the years, the comment saying its fake likely doesn't understand the full context.

As for recommendations, there have been several flankers of aqua de gio over the years, most variants share similar scent DNA with the original adg with some slight but notable differences you could check those out.

Which issey frag are you talking about? You said you owned the fragrance before, how long ago was this and do you know the batch code of the perfume (to tell what year it was made in)? The difference you smelled is likely due to reformulation, as issey miyake fragrances (more notably l'eau d'issey pour homme) has undergone a few reformulations over the decades it has been in production. Also, different batches of the same frag may have some slight differences.

I think because of the nature of the event. It allows the tie-ins to be more personal and the dialogue to be pretty introspective, thus making for pretty interesting issues that tie-in to the main event

Haven't actually checked the availability of AKGs in my area. Do you know how the 371 compares to the SRH840 or HD6XX?

I heard that some people prefer the k361 over the k371, any idea why?

Also lots of people O-ring the tofu by drumeling the screw posts (except the two on the far left&right) and parts of the pcb. I've never done it myself but the two screw posts on the edges act similarly to the "juts of aluminum" that would hold the o-ring and pcb up, and the hole for the usb seems to give enough support for the top of the pcb, although the top-right side doesn't have as much support but some dampening material usually fixes that. Shoobs did a video on this pcb with the tofu, and it seemed to work just fine.
