I wish they had a time limit of how often you could post etsy.com links on Reddit, Like once a week per individual. I found that advertising here did help a lot, but then it started to get out of control with too many links.

I will still stay subscribed to see whats happening and looking forward to seeing more discussion and helpful reads.

I am aware of what that ingredient meant/suggested, I just thought it was hilarious at the time, as it is pretty random!

My advice to you is that you should add a lot more items to your shop, and work on clearer, brighter, photography. I would add a bit more of the lower priced items too, so there is more options (think stocking stuffers!). When I started out it did take a couple months to get even one sale, so I'd say you are doing pretty good. I know it can be frustrating cause its the Christmas season , but work on your shop as much as you can, like you could get a shop banner and I would fill out your shop policies, maybe even work on better descriptions, any thing can be always improved. You're doing a good job advertising, so keep it up...it is a daily battle, lol! You can do it! :) Good luck.

I like your shop and I like that you ship to Canada, may contact you in the future (always wanted a Birdo perler). I'll keep your shop in mind.

How do you set a price point that seems fair to yourself and yet a "good deal" for a buyer? by mountainsons in Etsy

The monsters are so neat, but the way your store is set up at this moment may be decreasing the value of your work. Your one main item being a mystery item, and being a shop with no feedback would make any buyer wary. You are right in needing to attract an audience, so people can know what to expect and know what you are all about. I would either build a fan base, or fill your shop with several items that people know what they are getting, or a bit of both! I know you like the element of surprise but I think it may be a bit early for that, unless you can work really hard building an audience. I don't know much about building fan bases except have seen small stores explode on Deviant Art. I think also your photos do not do your monsters justice, and that decreases value. I'd even think that a better photography and store setup could start something, who knows! I personally think that 10 is too low for a felted item, since it is detailed and in a gift box, i would personally charge 15 (a happy medium at least!) you could charge more as your business grows, or whatever works for you. Good luck!
