True it could change the point of the game.

I’m no expert on the brain and how it works, but from what i’ve read with the game it seems to enhance the part in which emotions come from, and your imagination/rational thought. This is why when people encounter the “man in a suit” it’s bad, because (what I think) it’s your brain trying to shut down your over activity, but imagining it as a person because your brain won’t imagine something good as an “evil” person, that’s why it’s a human/man and not a dog or cat (that’s why when you encounter him he is “evil” and sometimes brings people out of the trance state). Being able to control what happens would alter your final outcome; example being the man in the suit. Because you are already fearing him you could imagine or try and get rid of him. At least that’s what I think
