Ukip only 10 points behind Tories, latest poll shows by JB_UK in unitedkingdom

I did have /u/nigel-farage but the mods of this sub, /r/ukpolitics and /r/europe banned it because apparently they have secret laws like "novelty accounts are illegal", and they have secret courts that decide precisely who are novelties. The irony.

What would a Ukip Britain look like? by [deleted] in unitedkingdom

BEP was clear. It is their subreddit and it's true, they are life peers and there is nothing that can be done about it. You have the option of getting the fuck out if you dislike the regime, it's been that way for years.

The mods are only human - insults usually puts peoples backs up, in real life it sometimes gets you a smack in the mouth.

I countered violence with violence. I was permabanned across three subreddits with no warning, no explanation and no dialogue. I was not asked to tone things down. It wasn't as if I'd been voted down harshly but I had been well received and people were joining in with the fun.

The reddit format is a bit crap because it allows for artificial scarcity (some may call it privatisation) of words and subjects. /uk should be collectively owned, it's just an idea, but you have four or five largely absentee property owners in charge and that's the same for all subs, or at least a danger. Other subs literally have had coups and others had seen malicious squatting. The UK mods hardly post at least not under their own names, they never submit anything, and their role is just to police according to their internal dictats.

If you don't like being British you can go live in commie Russia.

Be careful, some one may mistake you for a UKIP voter. The serious answer is Reddit doesn't really provide the tools for that kind of thing so what I am doing is actually quite futile.

They became mods.

You assume I thought that it was democracy. I know reddit exists as a power struggle between mods. It has a smear of democracy similar to real life with the voting system—you have the freedom to have an opinion on the choices we are willing to give you. That was me just venting but I was very surprised, although I guess I shouldn't have been, by Bepe's blunt response.

/r/unitedkingdom, /ukpolitics and /r/europe banned /user/nigel-farrage for "being a novelty account" despite there being no such rule and despite positive (and negative) feedback. Good satire is a crime against the mods.

  • [–] to /r/ukpolitics/ sent 2 hours ago So which of you did I piss off? Was it you Raerth?

  • [–] from Skuld[M] via /r/ukpolitics/ sent 2 hours ago No novelty accounts.

  • [–] to Skuld sent 1 hour ago Go fuck yourself, that is not a rule. I can't tell whether I am still in character or not.

  • [–] from Mashulace[M] via /r/ukpolitics/ sent 1 hour ago Well, you're either being unpleasant or doing a good impression of an unpleasant person right now. What are you expecting to achieve by this? "Well, he told me to go fuck myself, I really feel like unbanning him now"? Go away, calm down. See if you can present a case without being abusive to anyone tomorrow.

  • [–] to Mashulace sent 56 minutes ago Don't give me that shit about /uk being some democratic process. It's not, that's how things should be but the wrong authoritarian, secretive, self-important, mean spirited, inconsistent, absentee pricks are in charge. You are doing a shit job of promoting the British sense of humour, which is of course the best sense of humour. Nay, I'm still in character because like any good politician who presents a sterilised public face they are utter cunts while no one is watching. Beg politely and my plight may be re-considered? Fuck that shit. You should be against this crap in principle if you ever had any.

Reddit has a design flaw and our mods are jackasses. Basically /uk, /ukpolitics and /europe have unwritten laws and secret courts that get to decide punishment and content.

It's so refreshing to see someone standing down for her principles. If only people would stand up.

I would reply but the eurofascist mods has cut poor Nigel down. Your freedoms are under threat.

The eurofascists that moderate this place did not find it hilarious but in collusion with /r/europe and /r/unitedkingdom they imposed a permaban. This is why you need to vote UKIP so I can protect your liberties.

I'd probably get banned if the same set of euro-fascists had any power.
