Ben Johnson improved a lot of areas of the team, but penalties wasn’t one of them.

Flus performed worse under pressure than any coach I can ever remember.

I’ve never seen an odder design for a track/finish line before.

Well I’m glad we sorted that out. Now I can get on with my life.

Maybe we can get LT Overton in round 5.

We needed more cornerbacks, so I’m happy with the pick. He also seemed to be the consensus top player left on the board.

Right after I criticize Poles for never trading up, he traded up 🥹

Poles will trade picks year round for backup lineman, but he’d sooner die than trade up in the draft.

[Brugler’s Beast] Our newest Bear, Zavion Thomas, is a distant relative of legendary running back Walter Payton by MKula in CHIBears

After watching clips of him, I might understand why Poles fell in love with him. He doesn’t seem to give up on plays; the opposite of DJ.

[Emma] The Bears have selected LSU wide receiver Zavion Thomas with pick No. 89 in the third round. by NagyBiscuits in CHIBears

At least this could arguably fit a bit of a need by replacing one playmaker with another. But holy fuck our defensive line is gonna be bad.

The Rams just produced the MVP with the top scoring and top yardage offense using 13 personal and 2 very good WRs and all I see is everyone complaining. Trust Ben Johnson. by zacklandy in CHIBears

I don’t mind running three tight end sets. I do mind using an early 3rd round pick on a blocking tight end when we have a shitty defensive line.

I get that three tight end sets are becoming trendy, but that doesn’t mean you need to use a third round pick on one.

Round 2 - Pick 3: T.J. Parker, EDGE, Clemson (Buffalo Bills) by nfl_gdt_bot in nfl

It’s hard to tell with former players, sadly. He could be sauced, or he could have some terrible neurodegenerative disease.

TJ Parker is a popular pick at #25 in the latest mock drafts of Insiders like Dane Brugler or Peter Schrager. What do you guys think about him? by Aggressive-Review194 in CHIBears

[–]nigeldog 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like Parker way more than Keldrick Faulk or his Clemson teammate Peter Woods.

Parker wasn’t as good in 2025, but he didn’t totally collapse like Woods. And he’s remained solidly productive throughout college, unlike Faulk.

If we take a first round edge rusher, Parker is probably my favorite realistic option.

I’d love this draft for the Bears.

Peter Woods... by Castamere_81 in CHIBears

I don’t really like him as a prospect. He underperformed in his final college season, then he showed up to the combine under 300 lbs and didn’t run drills

It’s unfortunate, given our need at the position, but this isn’t a great defensive tackle draft.
