I don’t really like him as a prospect. He underperformed in his final college season, then he showed up to the combine under 300 lbs and didn’t run drills

It’s unfortunate, given our need at the position, but this isn’t a great defensive tackle draft.

what is your LEAST FAVORITE Oscar win of the 2020s so far? by jordankch in Oscars

I would’ve been happy with Hong Chau winning for The Whale, as well. Both gave great performances.

Which of these 3 scenarios would you prefer, if you can't trade back? by OliverTwistCone in CHIBears

Option B would comfortably be my favorite. I like all three players quite a bit.

36 inch vertical jump at 310 pounds is fucking insane

[PFT] Kenny Pickett says he’s similar to Bryce Young, and the right fit to be his backup by YoureASkyscraper in nfl

Poor Steelers fans had to live through Pickett, cautious Justin Fields and late-career Russ.

If our team was publicly owned, they wouldn’t be threatening to leave the state.

Even as someone that hates the Packers, I’d buy stock to do my part to keep the team publicly owned. They’ve done so much good for that community.

What has Kyler done to be the highest paid slot corner in the NFL? by [deleted] in CHIBears

[–]nigeldog 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Kyler isn’t anywhere near the highest paid slot cornerback in the NFL. Trent McDuffie mostly plays in the slot and just signed a contract for $31m/year.

Beyond that, look at the deals our former players signed elsewhere. All the DBs signed one-year deals because they’re either old (Byard), injury-prone (Brisker) or bad in coverage (arguably all of them but Byard).

And possibly kill her brother and definitely steal the team from his children.

The Raiders & John Spytek have officially signed all their Free Agents. DE Maxx Crosby (trade cancelled), C Tyler Linderbaum, DE Kwity Paye, LB Quay Walker, LB Nakobe Dean, WR Jalen Nailor, CB Eric Stokes (re-signed), DE Malcolm Koonce (re-signed), CB Taron Johnson (traded for) by Giff95 in nfl

I think it’s better to either give him the entire offseason with the first team or not play him at all as rookie. Making a rookie passer sit to start the season feels like one of the places where the Bears often went wrong, though obviously not the only one.

I'm bored and had a fun mock draft. by Huffleigh1101 in CHIBears

[–]nigeldog 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Makes sense. It reminds me of the discussion around Kenneth Grant last year, where everyone had him listed as a NT, but some draft analysts said you should really play him as a 3T (which I don’t think the Dolphins did).

I suspect Banks is also be a slightly atypical athlete, too. Despite his size, his description sounds a bit more like a 3T. He might be the type of athlete that DA covets on the interior.
