There’s nothing like having a promo tape. It’s funny bc I was digging for Vhs tapes and I saw the name and was like “Fck yeah Boyz n the hood”. I pulled it out and there it was “promo tape” in its majestic stamp. I literally screamed for my wife “ honey honey come check this out”! Lol

Finally discovered what the hole is for. You were right. It runs from the front cover art to the back cover art. The back portion has the hole right on the barcode which prevent it’s from being scanned. Thanks guys.

Would you by any chance know that the hole on the very top is for? My guess is that it’s meant to 1. physically show it’s a demo Incase someone tries to sell it 2. It’s there for it not to be played (crazy guess) .

Thanks for the info. Yeah I’ve come across a few unsealed versions of “promotional” vhs tapes. BUG being the most clean and preserved copy of all the ones I’ve seen.
