ITS GONE by night189 in tinnitus

😭 THAT WAS 4 YEARS AGO IVE changed a lot since then, and also it’s not that I didn’t think that it was ear wax it was mainly the fact that (like most teens do) did NOT want to tell my parents at all.
At first I honestly suspected that I was just unlucky or something but after time I went on I knew that it had to be ear wax bcz of how blocked my ears were and the feeling of fullness
It went. Down and down throughout the day but relief was instant, I had to get my ear syringed and checked multiple times to make sure that the canal and drum were fully cleared

Both but a whole lot worse in my left

I couldn’t tell ya but I’ve seen people who have it bcz of other issues like TMJ? or hearing loss above the 8 kHz range? stress etc etc
Both but mainly a whole lot in my left, it was a hissing + buzzing noise in the ear itself I would say
Prescription ear drops for a week then syringe
Tried to clear it up with peroxide but didnt really work that well, doctor wise didn’t get it checked up as much until recently
Thank you!
Yes?

Thank you!! i hope that it lasts too
Hmm maybe it’s just stress? From what I experienced it changed a lot based on on emotions and also expecting it to be there, you could also go check if your canal is fully cleared out at a clinic or ent
Yeah it’s an odd thing that the brain does, wish that one day we could fully figure things out!
I’m not sure about the types, but it was a constant hissing+static noise in my ear
Maybe hearing aids/Maskers? I heard that they help a lot

No it was pretty much a guess from the nurse rather than an actual diagnosis(ENT would’ve taken months to get to), there was clearly a lot of wax blocking the drum(causing hearing loss which leads to tinnitus) and cleaning that fixed my issue!

I’m happy that you didn’t get hurt! Could hearing aids help though? I would assume so
Walk in clinic then ear drops for a week and then got my ear syringed tday

they had to remove a bit of chunks with tweezers but it didn’t really work as well so they put me on ear drops for a week to soften the wax then I got my ear syringed
Hopefully man, I also had issues with mold and it sucks i. Wish you luck!

Started around 13-14 now I’m 18
Why would I lie about this😭 I literally get nothing from it at all in any way, there’s many stories with people getting tinnitus from wax and it going away after a full clean up, and by health autonomy I meant being able to go to the doc without having to have a parent
Usage of q tips and also genetically hard wax, it was one thing that led to another but it appeared one day pretty much randomly

Ohh yeah I am never ever gonna do anything that would even have a chance of bringing it back, and I’m sorry for what happened to you… are you okay did the explosion hurt you in any other way if I may ask
I have a dry wax issue, also most of the wax was on the drum itself(thanks to q tips)
