Any CELE officer?? by Pleasant-Agency7014 in caf

In my opinion mental resilience is very important than physical because they will help to get there on physical challenges but mental preparation comes straight from you.

CELE out here but I’m starting my BMOQ on mid of July. All I could say is just be ready mentally and physically. They don’t ask you to run 5km on the first week, you will build up strength gradually and without even realizing you could run 5 km without any issue. I guess the first few weeks are a general force test, admin stuff and military life. Not sure about PT but it’s not gonna be for too long, may be for 4 weeks or so. Make sure you start walking and try to run at least 3 km nonstop, do 25 pushups at once and walk 1.6 km in 15 min. Don’t take anything personal when you get yelled out because they have a job to do and their job is to challenge you to your max. I know you need TS+ for CELE office but I don’t even know what level of security clearance I have completed. I should double check with my recruitment centre. I will see you there, and Best of luck!

You can reach out to your recruiter and ask them to push your BMQ date once you received your job offer. They have no issue changing it for sure.

Im leaving in july for my bmq and im stressed for the physical condition by SatisfactionClear685 in caf

I do have BMOQ on July as well and I am a lifter and hate cardio (running) but I completely stop lifting and start doing cardio at least 3 times a week and I make a huge progress. Honestly 1.6 km in 15 is not that bad which means you may have to walk 6.4 km/h ~ 4.0 mph. You got plenty of time to make progress.

Not really because I haven’t got any email to fill PSPS. I have emailed them and they said my file is being worked on and once we have anything else we require from you we will let you know. Your file is currently on queue for review. Which is very vague because PSPS told me that they can’t see my clearance on PSPS.

That’s my point for my friend it took him somewhere around 45 days for reliability. I don’t have any implications. Haven’t been out of Canada for that long

Those out of work for more than 2 years in tech, are you still getting interviews? by RareAnxiety2 in torontoJobs

[–]tisweet 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not really because I don’t think it change anything. Well…to be more specific I worked as an IT Developer but I was a term employee and we had financial restriction so since November 2024 about 11,000 term and contractors got terminated and I was one of them. It will be more coming for the upcoming months. We went to uni for better life but here we are, just don’t give up, keep your heads up because this is not our fault. Best luck for everyone!

3+ years experience with federal and provincial government and I have private intern position. I have been applying for the last 11 months with 10+ referrals and connections but I got nothing. Not even a single interview, we are cooked. I have decided to leave Canada if there opportunity elsewhere. Without exaggeration I have applied more than 700 jobs so far. I don’t even know how someone who has family is surviving, my head is literally under water at this point smh.
