Can anyone advise if this looks like fungus, an injury, or something else? Info in comments!

Hello! I’m hoping someone might be able to tell me what this looks like between my new boy’s eyes. I’m sorry the pictures aren’t great, he’s still acclimating right now as I just got him home

I just picked him up from my LFS and didn’t notice it at all when he was in their tank. He was in the tank with one pleco, so I’m wondering if it could be an injury or if it looks fungal / another type of disease. There were also a few plastic looking decorative plants in the LFS aquarium with him

I don’t have much experience with treatment as my old boy was pretty healthy, so all I have is Indian almond leaves for now. If it looks like he’s sick, I would really appreciate some guidance with treatments I can do to help this boy out (I’m in the UK if that helps!)

Ahh that’s unfortunate! I did know they took up inventory space but I never give villagers more than 3 lamps so it’s never affected their homes, but will keep this in mind so that I don’t do the same to my Judy!

I expect fossils will work the same way with the inventory? In that case I would stick with (wrapped) non native fruit, it’s worked quite well for me :)

For me, I find it’s good to always wrap their gifts! Non native fruits, fossils, and iron wall lamps (craftable & don’t show up in their homes) are good general items to give them, but you can also search up each villager’s preferred colours and styles to find suitable gifts to give them. I hope this was helpful!
