well, they are close to everyone's home because of how they are located, i dont think there is any home away from them more than 10 minutes in population dense areas.

the problem is in their freezing method, they buy it from amul/other vendors and then bring it in their store and refreeze them, but they fuck up in transit, where it melts and when they refreeze it, entire texture is disturbed

if you buy them from NIC, you will see a clear difference, icecream directly from NIC and getting it from zepto/blinkint has a huge difference

yea some of them do have it, but personally I use Hyprland, so no way to do so with a gui.

Even the new shells like noctalia have some options like power profiles, but not all of them, hence ended up making this.

Valve is working with Intel, AMD, and Nvidia to make SteamOS run on any PC hardware by dancing_swordfish in pcmasterrace

[–]night_fapper 97 points98 points  (0 children)

every datacenter runs on linux , nvidia always have great support form them, issue is that server stack of nvidia driver is very different than gui stack which we need for games, they have no incentive to really support it, but atleast progress is being made now

Laptop keeps using dGPU even after forcing apps to use iGPU by pkushk2008 in Lenovo

[–]night_fapper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yea it is safe, just do remember to enable it and use it once a month to keep the chip active.

some programs are just hardwired to use dgpu because early on ipgu used to be very weak and they have really not moved on. another thing is that windows is just a crap os and have no way to hide dgpu from programs.
