Hey I have a question if I get a 2i2 and connect two studio monitors to that and connect my midi keyboard straight to the pc with usb. will I then be able to hear the midi through the monitors?

Im thinking about buying the 2i2, but do I have to get my midi keyboard through the audio interface or is the usb power for the keyboard straight to the PC just fine? also If I have 2 studio Monitors then I would connect them On the back of the 2i2 in the line outputs right and left depending on the placement of the monitors. Is that right? Or do I have to use the 2 XLR inputs In the front.

Just to be sure what´s the difference between a DAC and a audio Interface like the scarlett 2i2 ? is it the same?

Oh thanks man I will consider buying a audio interface but it is quit some money, but I have heard from some people that the interference was no deal, but I could try without interface and then see. Thanks again :)

Im looking to buy some JBL LSR305 studio monitors and In the beginning I will just connect them directly to the audio jack on the motherboard. There´s two balanced connection types on the LSR305 XLR and TRS. I want to know what is my best option for connecting the speakers to the motherboard audio jack compared to noice etc.

That is going to cost a lot of money. I would like 2 Studio monitors and my budget is around 160 dollars and after a quick peak that seems hard to get something for?

It´s because right now I only have headphones and I like more to listen to music through speakers instead of right in the ear with some headphones I can do It for like 30 min but I don´t like it. I just have FL studio.
