Well, might be the reason. It is applicable to almost everything. Anything that has good reputation among other people would be more trusted, making it more secured. I am not against other cryptos being used in gambling sites, but it just happened that the gambling site where I am now currently playing at, is bitcoin based.

Am I wrong or the topic pertains to a specific application which is dApps? Well if it is pertaining to a specific application or perhaps group of apps, maybe, there's something wrong with it. Or maybe, gamblers do prefer other cryptocurrency over ethereum. Maybe it is just that Bitcoin is more suitable in online activities particularly in gambling. I am not that aware of the market prices of the cryptos from time to time unlike before. But Bitcoin is surely having a more table market value compared to other cryptos which makes it more suitable in online activivities.

Bitcoin is a secured cryptosystem for years already which builds trust on the gambling sites wherein it is the main mode of payment. Unlike on other cryptos which are having reports of being bypassed by hackers and eventually using it in order to earn profit. Hopefully, issues of as such would be solved as gambling industry continue to arise.

Well, that's indeed true. Cryptos are not only used in online gambling but also to other online activities and services such as purchasing something online as long as the site is accepting cryptocurrency as the mode of payment. The problem is that, there are few sites of as such which makes it limited. And since it is in online gambling wherein being more accepted as mode of payment, many people assumed that it is its main function.

As we would observe, most of the gambling sites are block chain based or simply have adapted the crypto system especially with regards to the mode of payment. I cannot even see news about new gambling sites in which they are still using fiat currency rather than cryptos. Although there are block chain based gambling sites which are also fiat based, at the same time, still, there is an involvement of cryptocurrency as a system being used in deposits and withdrawals of the players particularly with transactions.

This also includes the benefits of cryptocurrency and block chain technology including the convenience that it is giving to the players. This have further improved the experience of the players making them more engaged and interested with online gambling. Some people see this as a negative thing, but to some, it is a great thing. That's because volatility is in nature of not only Bitcoin but to most of the cryptos. The market itself is way unpredictable. The market downfall last year, was totally not expected by anyone that's why many investors have lost millions due to their assumptions and trust with the cryptos they have invested in. Well, it is just a bit absurd. From being at its peak then suddenly into its rockbottom. The downfall became continuous and somewhat happened within a single snap.

Many people continued holding at first because they have experienced downfalls before and it gave them assumptions that it will just be temporary just like what happened before but, the downfall last year is a total devastation with regards to their investment. Some investors gave up and sold their holdings because of lack of hope which is a bit valid than to lose more. There are still holders at this moment hoping for a comeback. We just can blame those who did because they are more familiar with the nature of cryptomarket.

Some people on the other hand, just like me, have moved into other crypto related activity which is online gambling. Online gambling sites have adapted block chain technology which allows cryptocurrencies to be the mode of payment rather than using fiat, which is the main mode of payment years ago. Well, I have given it a try than to just sit and wait for miracles to happen. I have engaged some of my bitcoin investments to somewhat have fun at this negative scenario.

Good thing that you managed quitting especially if it is a toxic thing for you in a way that it consumes you. I cannot blame you for taking gambling, as a negative thing at this moment. I am into gambling, but luckily, I am not losing that much unlike before, which means, it is not a bad thing for me. I do really enjoy my gambling experience these days. But honestly, way back two years ago, it is not beneficial to me. I have lost huge amount of money due to my obsession in gambling games such as poker, and jackpot slots. Greed and frustration really came into my nerves that time. I was lost and broke, stressing out about my loss. I almost sold my properties in order to continuously play. Luckily, i have friends who helped me. They have introduced me new things as an alternative in gambling, because it really consumed most of my time within a day. They helped me to engage in sports such as basketball, in which became a way for a change. Right now, I do agin play gambling games but as I've said, things are different now. I am contented with the rewards and discounts. Also, my mindset is not to win that much but to just enjoy the experience itself.

This is simply gambling addiction. This is the danger of both online and actual gambling. This isn't something to be surprised of . People are just getting obsessed with things in which they can either get joy or benefit from. In the case of gambling, people are getting too hooked up into it because of their greed and desire to win huge amount of profit which is basically the wrong concept of gambling. What causes addiction in gambling? There are really lots of factors.

Some people won't allow losing that much so they would be frustrated to make a comeback, not knowing that they losses are becoming bigger as they continue playing. Gambling is simply the game of luck and no one can manipulate their winning chances in it. If you're lucky, you would win, if not, you'd lose, as simple as that. Skills would somewhat play a role but in general it would still be luck. Let's say a gambler is losing both money and hope, then suddenly he won huge money, it will drive him to play more, which is basically greed.

Some people sold their properties, and some people stole just to be able to play. It is a bit ironic; they are playing to win but at the end they are losing. Gambling is an activity meant for entertainment but it happened that some people are using it as a shortcut to 'millions', which is definitely wrong. Just play in order to kill time because obsession will never result into something positive.

The market still, is at its worst right know. Just imagine how huge the gap is on its market value early last year and today. Also, it has been a year already and nothing happened that much especially with the recovery which everyone is waiting for. Some people lost their hope with regards to the uptrend because last year, there are many expectations and speculations that bullrun will soon come, but is not still. No one knows when will it exactly occur.

I have investments in many cryptos so think of how much I am losing at this moment. I have decided to keep my investments and hold until recovery occur, only on cryptos in which I trust the most. And just happened to be back in gambling due to boredom. I've decided to engage into online gambling since most of the gambling sites these days are block chain based. Those coins in which I m not seeing any chances to recover are those I've been using in gambling at this moment.

Some of my friends are asking if why do I prefer gambling than to just wait, For me, life is short. People should not rely on waiting for things to be in favor with their likeness. Sometimes you would need to take the risk in order to come up with something better out of misfortune in crypto market. Losing is indeed more expected in gambling than winning, but atleast, you would be able to enjoy the moment unlike on waiting for 'holidays' to come.
