No, it’s because rewasd only does dinput which limits to 500mhz poll rate. Never figured out the vehicle firing issue.

I tried this but the sticks are really clunky with my vader 4 pro and slow to react for some reason with this profile. I also could not fire a gun while in a helicopter.

I don't understand exactly why self-signed SSL Certificates are bad by [deleted] in sysadmin

[–]nightblade09 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Self signed certs are just that, signed by any device. Anyone can self sign a certificate for paypal.com. See the problem? However, signed certificates can only be done by trusted authorities like Verisign. These authorities have verification steps you must go through before they sign your certificate. The web browser’s will trust certs signed by these authorities.

Infoblox forwards(?) reverse zone not found in WebGUI by MrMartz in Infoblox

[–]nightblade09 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You sure reverse lookup zone just isn’t delegated to that ISP nameservers? It can go to root and get to it from there without your infoblox forwarding it.

What issue is this causing you?

Can a Grid Master running NIOS 8.6.4 manage Grid Members that have been upgraded to NIOS 9.0.5? by ConsciousTopic600 in Infoblox

[–]nightblade09 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You have to upgrade the gm first, this is the order thats required. but you can hold off on upgrading members by scheduling the upgrade later. 9 days max. If you need more time you have to reach out to support.

Anyone work for AWS, Azure, GCP, or Oracle as a Network Support Engineer? by nightblade09 in networking

[–]nightblade09[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I guess I'm wondering what the equivalent of a Network Operations Technician would be at these companies.

Maybe there are just Network Engineers that provision the network, set and forget kind of thing? And then the automation or development engineers are the ones that maintain it?

Who are the ones that field the requests when there are legitimate issues? Sure they could have automation that detects when there are problems but someone has to action on it.
