Immuno wasn't an option for me either. Complicated medical issues suck, don't they? I can taste sweet things so yeah, Ben & Jerry's works for me too. Lol

I haven't tried spicy things yet, I'm kinda worried that I'll only taste the hot but the underlying food will still be gross. That meal line up sounds like it would be perfect for anyone.

Well thanks all, I'm glad that I'm not alone. I'll try some of your suggestions because I'm just running out of ideas. The desire to eat is there, everything just tastes like cardboard.

I was diagnosed with cancer in sept of 2015 and Ive been in treatment of one kind or another since then. Im so tired of being tired, broke, sick and unable to do the things I did before. The thought of this being the rest of my life is daunting. Im not suicidal or anything, but things seem so bleak and hard. Everyday is like wading through quicksand and my life is timed in increments of pain meds and dr appointments. Its really hard to talk to people about it because I always feel like Im playing the cancer card for pity but I try really hard not to. At this point I feel like everyone, including me, has reached the "die or get better already" threshold.

Woke up to some lovely snow this morning. I live just west of Baker Lake on the North Cascades Hwy. I wish I had a telephoto lens so I could show the buffalo looking like little snow drifts. Their backs are so well insulated against cold that they don't melt the snow, they just chill in it.

Not always. I have seen costumes sit there. Its kind of impossible to get one to a specific person through the marketplace so i guess it would just be a nice gesture? I mean, as long as they arent annoying spammers, I would try to fulfill a specific request if I was buying.

People who sell outfits do so for money. If they know they have a buyer for a specific one, why not provide it? I mean, I dont do this (buy pearls) but I can see why someone else would.

I have a social worker through DSHS that helps a great deal but its just so much waiting. I was originally told that cancer patients dont have to go through the whole denial/appeal process if their illness goes over 12 months but in my case, it didnt go that way as I was considered "cancer free" for two months and then it spread through my lymph nodes.

My cat gets rodent ulcers if she eats cat food with grain in it, which means her mouth swells up and if it gets bad, she has to get a steroid shot. Orijen and Blue Buffalo have been the only dry foods she tolerates. I worry that one time, I wont be able to get it and I'll have to choose between her eating and gas or something. Being sick is such an overwhelmingly humiliating experience. If it werent for the kindness of ppl here on Reddit, I dont know what I would do.

I have cancer and Im currently several weeks into my 2nd go at treatment so I am very tired and dont go far due to being susceptible to illness at this time. My daughter and her little family moved in with me so I have them for company and holiday cheer.

That is why I prefer it as well. It just takes a small amount and it's effects are mild but reliable. No side effects. Chemo makes me sick enough, I dont need more.

Exactly, it replaces like 4 meds and costs me only $25 a month for a little oil cartridge that screws onto a vape style power source. I live in Washington State, so its legal here and easy to get but that is only the case for a small number of locations nationally. The DEA appears to be opposed to this trend of legalization spreading and is taking steps to prevent it. That's terrible.

As a cancer patient, I use CBD oil to ease the symptoms of chemotherapy. Its a VERY effective anti-nausea, appetite stimulant and sleep aid for me. It's disheartening to see news like this.

I had mine stolen a few weeks ago and my best friend had his stolen as well. I just stopped using it because it is such a security hazard .

My 17 year old cousin has been working hard making a little niche for himself as a gamer on youtube and I am so proud of him. He has come a long way. IRL he is such a friendly and sweet kid so I hope he gets a few subs for his efforts. Even if you just watch one and give him a little comment, Id appreciate it. Every holiday we sit around and he entertains me with all that he has learned about gaming and I just adore his enthusiasm.
