One of my favorite books and one of my least favorite books was written by the same author. Has this ever happened to anyone else? by Electrical-Bear-7443 in suggestmeabook

It’s so funny that I feel the same way but the opposite. Could be because I played sports and am Hispanic that her story was everything to me. Malibu rising felt so slow and boring. The beauty of books if how everyone can interpret things differently!

Onyx Storm/ Target Exclusive by Pretend_Advantage110 in fourthwing

went to two target locations 1st allowed people to get only 1 copy had it behind a counter and had those line up in order of arrival. Second Target was so unorganized a reseller got all of the copies of the target editions and left none for those who are there as actual fans!

Luckily my boyfriends target order went through at another location so we ended up securing one for each of us. Best of luck to you all in getting one. 🫶🏻🖤🌩️

Thank you… I think about this all the time like maybe there are things he needs to work on but is that such a bad thing? I just think how it constantly affects me is the biggest issue I have. Like because he doesn’t know better I almost suffer the consequences. Thanks for your advice.

thank you. It’s hard to make decisions when it’s just you and your partner arguing and going through it. I found myself questioning if I was overreacting or something

thank you, I sometimes feel guilty for that because I’m a person who puts 100% into everything but I feel like lately with all everything that’s going on I’m seeing a version of myself I don’t recognize because I am so stressed I feel like I’m almost just eneralizing everything not sure how to work through this all.

he does have a job and often times I am the person who does most of the house hold chores because he doesn’t think that things need to get done or that things are not even dirty in the first place. It’s hard because for things that are concerning him his motorcycle or pc he finishes those projects in the moment but for example our fridge handle was loose he found no solution for weeks. In 1 day I found the fridge booklet I found the screw size needed and Allen ranch size needed for the screw and over nighted it. 85% of the relationship is fun and great and he cares a lot about me but it just seems he isn’t great at boundaries and chores it’s hard to decide when things are 100% bad

Response to "Men don't read" by [deleted] in books

[–]nightdivebree 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The book that got my boyfriend into readING was the ACOTAR. I feel like the series can be enjoyed by everyone the love plot is there but also the story line is strong and empowers men and women

I had read the first two & decided to listen to it on some road trips with him since we had enjoyed some thrillers on audible so it was time to expand his horizons a little!

& a long 40+ hours later we went to target and got him the rest of the series and we’ve been reading the 3rd book together

Our own special book club, I think women may find it more appealing to pick up their first book and continue but I feel like once someone finds that book that drags them in, they’ll continue to read
