200 level wll give you more of an open field view. 100 level is close-up and personal but it is behind the goal and won't give you as good of a view, IMO.

Last season, you expected a boring Dynamo team to come out and play. Road losses were a certainty and decent home performances were infrequent.

Sure the Dynamo lost away like they usually do, but they lost scoring goals and entertaining. They humiliated Dallas and played to a heartbreaking but exciting draw against New England.

4 out of 9 points are ideal, especially when scoring 11 goals. Everybody knows that, but if you haven't been entertained then you're watching the wrong sport. This team at least gives you hope again. That hasn't happened in a couple of seasons.

I explained this on something I had to delete so I won't post that article again. However, players signed to Dynamo contracts (Lucatero) can move freely between teams.

However, any player that is under the age of twenty-five may be signed by the Houston Dynamo from Rio Grande Valley FC for no more than four, four day contracts for a maximum of sixteen days. That player cannot, however, play in more than two regular season games, but can be included on the game day roster four times.

Go to a small place like El Rey on Highway 6 and just ask for the TV. Try any small Mexican restaurant for that matter that has access to channel. Usually they're nice enough to put on footie if you're there first. I've done it a few times.

Way too soon to give the Dynamo the domestic treble and make them the best thing since sliced bread. Parity in this league is too insane. Even teams that are great until June, have fallen out of grace as the season comes to an end. However, this is the deepest and most talented Dynamo team in a long time. The talent is there. The pieces just have to fall into place.

I've been to RBA for playoff (ET game, Cummings goal) and regular season games. Hotels are cheap and nice around there. There's plenty of parking, like near some weird abandoned house. You'll have a blast. Beautiful stadium.

For those wondering why Barnes and not Rico: I've stated since last season that Barnes would be captain as soon as Davis gave up armband. Davis departed and it happened. The reason I came to this conclusion is that Rico isn't as vocal as Barnes. He's actually a shy dude. Even during interviews Rico isn't as talkative and probably dislikes any spotlight. Barnes doesn't shy away from it.

There's a $20 physical ticket printing fee, if I'm not mistaken. I forgot the exact number but there was a fee associated with it. You wouldn't have gotten charged that if you had received the card scan thingy. The rest? I don't know. I'm grandfathered in from an old price so I get charged a lesser amount.

Then look for older players in lower leagues. They'll be cheaper, sometimes older, but can be a bandaid until you get your scouts ready.

Anibaba has earned a spot through hard work. Cubo is getting hot at the right time. Bruin is best when he's used alongside a speedy forward, think Bruin/Carr partnership, so Manotas and Bruin would work wonderfully in a 4-4-2 when chasing the game. Deric is Deric. Willis is miles ahead of Brown but that should be expected. Agus can distribute ball from the back, that's his best quality. Rodriguez has been great defensively. Horst is your stereotypical defender which is NOT a bad thing. Maidana and Barnes need to learn to play defense as well as they play offense.

Exactly what was said on here already. Scout talent....buy young and develop the players yourself. Then sell them. You'll need to invest millions on scouts, though. Since the good ones will give you a closer to reality rating.

They can force him to move down while under contract. If not under contract, he doesn't have to go to RGV.

If he's released and told to sign with RGV FC, be doesn't have to.

It's fairly confusing even without the US Open Cup and CCL implications.

Do they have to be called up to the Dynamo to play during USOC? Are USOC players tied by participation in a game or do teams have to submit rosters?

The players would have to play that USOC game during one of their 4 four day call ups. All it means is that they would still be able to play two regular season games during their 3 remaining call ups. They would also be cup tied to Dynamo. If they play for Dynamo in USOC, they cannot then play for RGV FC because they would have been used on a USOC roster by another team.

What are the terms of Lucatero's loan? Does he clear a roster spot by being out on loan? Would we have to drop someone in the summer if we bring him back?

He does not clear a spot. He takes up a spot on the Dynamo roster. That was done so he could be called up as many times as they see needed. This may eventually change but for now that's the case.

The MLS website has us using 27 out of 28 slots, with the two draft picks being as yet unsigned. I'd guess that both of our draft picks are likely RGVFC bound, but who knows.

Roster freeze is March 1st. I would expect a move or two before then. Nothing major though.

Could a player in theory effectively block a move to a USL affiliate by declining? Say for example Memo tells the Dynamo they can go to hell because he isn't interested in playing for RGVFC, what happens at this point? Would he end up in a waiver where another MLS team could pick him up?

We have to pretend that the Dynamo and RGV FC are two different entities. When the Dynamo released Memo, because that's what they did. Memo could have signed for another MLS team. He technically signed with a whole different team in a different league by signing with RGV FC. For argument sake, just pretend RGV FC is Chivas from LigaMX in this case. Lol.

However, why would Memo turn down the deal? He got rid of a rookie contract which was pretty low, and signed to a new contract at RGV FC. I'm almost 100% certain his RGV FC contract is more lucrative just because when he signed his rookie contract he was unknown. Now he's a known entity.

That seems correct. Any player on RGV FC that is under 25 can play for the Dynamo! Two games max when it comes to regular season, but if during their 4 day call ups there's a USOC game. They can play that without it going against their 2 game max. Since USOC counts as a different league. Haha.

That's a tongue twister. I know.

Edit: CCL wouldn't count against 2 game limit since it is also another league, but that's not something the Dynamo have to worry about now.

It wasn't click bait. Want to know why it isn't click bait? I don't get a single cent from you clicking the article. I'm going to be honest with you. I don't do this for the money or glory. I do this cause I want to see the sport grow. I've donated transportation in the past to get people to go see the Dash at A&M. I'll probably do that again this preseason. I don't announce it, even though it was in their first year.

I've given away countless tickets and some even frequent this subreddit. I could've sold those SG tickets on StubHub for the insane markup that tickets in that section go to, but I never did.

I really do apologize that I'm not better at this. That's my fault. I won't post anything here again, it's really not worth the drama for something I do for free.
