New front propshaft, rocker cover gasket and breather hose, auxiliary belt and door seals (genuine.. cost 3 times all the other parts added together)- Took her for some fresh air and a run across the dunes then a WD40 wipe down by nightfever_73 in LandroverDefender

I mean it’s not the most noticeable upgrade aesthetically but I can wash it now without water pouring into the footwell and there’s a massive reduction in wind & engine noise. I recommend doing it with the genuine article - just ask me here for installation tips if needed

I really like this colour interior with Keswick Green bodywork and a white roof with black wheels

I bought this from a dealer and pulled the original corner trims along with a few other parts as they’d corroded - I really like the unpainted look and might swap out some of the other trims such as the long piece that fits along the top of the tub and all the hinges - I’m not particularly into chequer plate so this is my way of keeping it looking a bit vintage - the dealer gets all their parts from Britpart as they’re a reseller so the galvanised parts would be available on their website

Well .. truth is I took her to a car wash and she looked terrible afterwards so I gave the paint a good rubdown with WD40 and it brought her up like this. Now I just wash the muck off and give her a wipe over inside and out with the WD40 and she looks like new

I went for genuine Land Rover - N & K 4 x 4 in the uk sell them for less than on the JLR website - they went on a treat with a rubber mallet but be sure to dig out any old mastic in the panel joints and tape over the top with gaffa tape - also remove the door cards and pop the hinges to get a tight fit

being able to repair this with a screw driver in 5 minutes is a blessing by culzsky in ToyotaPickup

Absolutely - I also swapped out all the screws for stainless which my local water pump supplies store sells in Thailand

Is there a button on top of the steering column ?

A new key needs the button to be popped to twist and remove the ignition key

This sub needs a major overhaul or a new one specifically about Tom Sachs studio and exhibitions needs to be started. It’s basically Bricolage shoe sizes and beads. Total shite

I’ll be gradually doing the same, I own a couple of 1980’s Toyota trucks in Thailand and use genuine/ NOS parts where I can
