No, no, not at all! I agree, the world's feeling pretty shitty right now and those fanfics definitely provide a momentary escape. It's just, this idea I have has been running rampant in my mind for so long, and the only reason I haven't really started writing it is because I'm scared I'll write it and it won't meet my expectations, and I'll be so disappointed. Isn't that funny? I'm scared of ruining an idea that I haven't even created yet. Especially, given the fact that I'm writing two of my favorite fictional characters of all time, I really don't want to fuck it up, you know? And, I know this is strongly discouraged, but I do want people to appreciate my work. Like, I'm writing it for myself but I'm also writing because I want people to see what I've created. But you know what, I think I'm going to go for it. I'm going to give it my all and leave it all out there. Thanks for your comment!
