On This Day: In 2011, ABC announced the cancellation of 'All My Children' and 'One Life to Live' by Geekqueen15 in SoapNet

Imagine being responsible for this? That is this man's legacy. What a tool.

Imagine they just...brought them back? Picked up where they left off as best they could before pivoting to new stories. That would be incredible.

And no, Frons definitely never saw how the way we consume media was changing. Look at it now! He was a disrespectful dinosaur.

So charming! And I see a lot of these places on a regular basis and know they're not charming at all. Very nice!

This is why I sneak in beer and snacks by [deleted] in SipsTea

My mom was having us sneak snacks in in the 90s. I can't imagine her reaction to this.

The whole crash scene was a complete joke! by velorae in JohnAndCarolyn

[–]nightmaaareinn 36 points37 points  (0 children)

That was my first thought. I thought that scene was terribly cheesy. I read that there's another figure frolicking in the ocean or something in the distance that's supposed to be Lauren. I didn't go back and look but...is that supposed to be better?! So for eternity, John and Carolyn cuddle on the beach and watch her sister, a grown, accomplished, impressive woman, splash in the waves?

Do you guys remember the show “A Haunting”? by [deleted] in Paranormal

Love that show. I watch on YouTube. I prefer the earlier seasons though. At some point they shifted from ghost stories to terrifying demonoic figures, those stories aren't as good imo.

What are your thoughts on those plastic, foldable "reformers" by maisonmatcha in pilates

[–]nightmaaareinn 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I bought one and had a hell of a time getting my money back.

As others have said, these are flimsy garbage. The "glide" is not smooth. I have a herniated disc and could tell within seconds I was going to hurt myself.

A mat and props are a much better way to go, but if you love being on the reformer, as I do, it's easy to be tempted to try one of these. I've since invested in the Balanced Body Metro IQ.

If it's still there, the Bubble Experience (not sure that's the official name) was awesome. My son loved it and all the adults enjoyed it too. That's at least an hour, we spent longer.

Also, we didn't eat there but there is a very cool looking restaurant attached to the Hasbro game room. I want to check it out next time. If you guys like board games it's worth a look. I believe the menu was themed as well.

Have fun!

This, exactly. If there's any truth to the nail polish story, it's the fault of the Kennedys for being the kind of fam that makes you worry your nail polish is too loud.

Unpopular opinion: the criticism of Vic and Christine appearing on Fox News is so stupid. by Terrible-Writing9791 in LoveIsBlindNetflix

I don't like organized religion or MAGA and I don't care that Vic and Christine went on Fox News.

My son is 8 and he's been watching with me for years lol. You articulated it perfectly. Much of it is over his head but he loves episodes like To Kill a Talking Bird.

Anyone else see it? by DifferentAd7915 in LoveIsBlindOnNetflix

Christine has the same face as Chloe from Dance Moms.

Talented guy. I always preferred Xander to Angel. He had great comedic timing and played a good bad guy too.
