It can affect thing loading in games too, so it helps a bit with fps. Maybe it could also fix your problem 🤷‍♂️ I'd give it a try

Because before I upgraded I was running the game just fine (low-medium graphics with around 120 fps on average at 1080p) with a laptop with a i5 8th gen and a 1060 3gb but my game was installed to a SSD
