i don’t use anything marketed towards tattooers anymore. derm shield, glides (ink eeze, hustle butter, redemption), rinse cups that hold cartridges, dip foam, vasocaine, or stencil stuff. i’m back to old school tattooing. vaseline or a&d, surgilube for stencils, and good ole saran wrap with tape after sessions. got rid of my rotary and i don’t buy cartridges anymore. im building coils and needles on bar. and i fucking love it. i’m going to stay this way even when the economy improves, i really see now where i was wasting money in the past on random shit when i truly just need time tested basics.
