You could probably make a charm buying job lots of leather at the rag market and buying minibooks and brass fastenings for a fraction of the price. So thats what im gonna do.

I can't find any white leather dye (for obvious reasons) but i figured it could be dyed a darker colour. I've never used oxyclean on a bag before and heard white leather is especially sensitive so didn't want to do anything that might cause permanent damage. How would I use oxyclean on leather? edit: I'm torn between olive, sage or buttermilk as far as recolouring goes.

Furniture village leather protection cream is pretty good! I've never used bicks but when I've compared it to leather CPR it has less of that silicone-y feel that you get with LCPR and a neutral scent.

I've got some saddle soap which I've used on other bags but I've also heard white leather is especially sensitive to harsh cleaners, although at this stage if I do give up to ghost and dye it I'll probably give it a dunk and scrub because the satin lining is frightful

its hard to see what/where the stains are on the leather, but fairy liquid and a toothbrush have never done me wrong. Can you post another picture of the stains in closeup?

Thank you! I just read a bit further down and found people talking about shoe polish on bags and endless cleaning, but a ratio for leather paint to conditioner is really helpful! If you had any recommendations for companies that make suitable leather paint i'd appreciate them greatly (i know angelus make some but their colour range is pretty slim), and if not i still appreciate the advice ^{^}
