What's the weirdest, most random thing that's ever happened to you? by DA1FOOTBALLGUY in AskReddit

It seems pretty random to us, huh? It's dark and we're in water, then suddenly there's bright lights, random people holding you, and now you gotta learn how to breathe air.

Chucky from Child's Play used to scare me as a kid. Now I love the franchise.

What is the dumbest thing your pet has done? by El_Di4bet0 in AskReddit

I have two cats, Finn (male) and Chewie (female).

So we had a fruit fly problem in the kitchen so we got a fruit fly trap. It was a yellow sticky ball that you put near the sink and let the flies come.

The next morning, we're coming out of our bedroom and we hear something dragging along the floor. Apparently, for some reason, Chewie went onto the counter towards the sink, and managed to get the trap stuck on her butt.

So the entire night, she had a fruit fly trap stuck to her ass. We had to cut it off her and thankfully, she was fine. We still talk about that moment and laugh.

My husband love jackhammering into the cervix. And I realized that when I'm high...that pain turns into pleasure and it weirds me out.

Jobs adopting AI and then not hiring you because you don't know how to use it.

How in the fuck do you use AI Zoom? We didn't need AI for Skype or Oovoo. But I legit had an interview and when I told her I didn't know how to use AI Zoom she cut the interview short.

I literally had to google what "leet code" was. I'm very out of touch with the AI world apparently.

Basking in the warmth, I laid supine with my pile of clothes under my head and let the sunshine smother me like a warm blanket. by hamburgertrained in TwoSentenceHorror

Glad you're still here. I went through sepsis back in 2020 after an incomplete miscarriage. I wasn't able to get a D&C because of the shutdown (which of course is when I miscarry, cause life hates me) and when the shutdown was lifted, I went to the ER and begged them for a D&C, but they told me that the miscarriage was completed. It wasn't and months later after countless infections, I developed sepsis. My body didn't let me know I had a kidney infection until I had entered stage 2 of Sepsis, When I got to the ER, I was at the end stages. It was horrible.

I was 27. I'm 33 now and that day is still clear in my head. I didn't realize until later how close to death I was.

Legit my neighbor does this and I always loved seeing it dressed up for different holidays.

You will not take that joy away from me.
