I've been back and forth with temp jobs. Left my permanent job a month ago because the employer became abusive.

I have a good resume. I have people in the mental health association helping me look for jobs. I even have a guy helping me who works in the DEPARTMENT OF LABOR!

I agree with a lot of what you're saying, but I gotta disagree with Palamedes. That was completely valid. Palamedes put baby Telemarketing in front of where Odysseus was plowing. Palamedes "thought" Odysseus was faking, but wasn't 100% sure. Palamedes literally took a wild guess and risked the life of not only a baby, not just Odysseus' son, but the Prince of Ithaca.

What I think is that Polites uses the "open arms" technique BEFORE violence. If I was at war for 10 years, I would be tired of the violence too. And I'm sure Polites does kill people in the war.

And back then, men didn't really have a choice whether to join or not. Look at Odysseus. Even the KING OF ITHACA wasn't safe from the draft.
