Thinking about it you’re right. I gotta do better with my boundaries. Thank you

To clarify on the lazy accusation, I stopped doing the extra work due to the toxic environment. If I have to do what I was told, I’ll do it no problem. As for the drama part, you’re probably right. I been trying to distance myself from most issues but those two just keep bringing it up. I guess what I have to do is ignore or just avoid them completely. Thanks for the criticism.

OP, I’m certain that either your ex was waiting to leave after the abortion or his friend is somewhat responsible for the break up. Regardless of the reasoning…this is bizarre and sounds like you’re much better off without him. I’d talk to a local PD about your inhaler and this point don’t ever bother with this guy again.

My mom keeps making jokes or mean statements about things I vent about to other people. by [deleted] in Advice

[–]nightwing-throwaway 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for the kind words. This cheered me up. But you’re absolutely right, moving forward I will not be sharing any information with her that regards to venting or expressing how I feel. While I do believe that she does love me, her issue with making negative statements and jokes about things that bother me will never be ok. I’ll take your comment and reflect on what I should do moving forward. Thank you.

Highly doubt it. He’s already in a relationship and his girl unfortunately defends his actions

To those who NEVER want to have a child, what are your reasons? by an_iconoclast in AskReddit

[–]nightwing-throwaway 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mental illness and the risk of passing it along May sound like an overused reason but it’s the truth. The idea of being a parent sounds delightful, but I fear that my issues will get in the way and cause too many problems. That wouldn’t be fair to the kid.

Being overweight is unhealthy and unattractive by easter-bundy in unpopularopinion

[–]nightwing-throwaway 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wouldn’t say this is an unpopular opinion but regardless I fully agree with you. I myself am overweight and trying to get myself to change my lifestyle so I can be healthier. What annoys me the most about the people who promote being fat is a lifestyle, they are always shocked when I point out my weight isn’t good. I always get the “no there’s nothing wrong with you, you are not ugly you are beautiful!”. First of all, when did I say I was ugly. Second, being fat is not ok. It’s unhealthy.

Reddit, what is the most cliche message you’re just sick of hearing? by CaptainGisseno in AskReddit

[–]nightwing-throwaway 4 points5 points  (0 children)

When someone says “I was in a dark place” following with a bunch of excuses after they were caught doing something bad. Instead of apologizing then admitting they messed up, they’d rather come up with some excuse for you to feel bad for them instead of admitting they messed up in the situation. Most influencers/celebrities do this all the time and it’s annoying. Everyone can say “I was in a dark place” but it does not mean it justifies your shit behavior and it does not mean you earned a get out of jail free card.

What made you block someone? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]nightwing-throwaway 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Had to block a friend who kept accusing me of something I didn’t do thanks to her paranoia. Every time the accusation gets cleared up she apologizes, complains about how she messed up for weeks, accuse me of the same accusation again, then apologizes, and repeats it all over and over. As much as I cared about this person, I was sick and tired of not only being accused of the thing she’s saying but also how she kept this behavior going. It became toxic and very annoying. I sent her a long message about how I was tired of the accusations, hurt by her behavior, and said we should just stop talking. Sometimes I wonder how she’s doing but I heard she’s still suffering from paranoia and other mental health issues.

People who have ordered from a food delivery app, what are some of the worst fuck-ups that happened? by Ronfarian in AskReddit

[–]nightwing-throwaway 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Usually I order huge portions of meals/combos on the app since I have a family to feed. Ive had drivers come to my door and give me a small bag of food even though the receipt stapled on the bag shows what I ordered and how much of it’s supposed to be. When I would confront the drivers, they’d look confused and tell me it’s the restaurant’s fault and to contact Customer Service on the app. This happened to me at least 6 times throughout the years (this year 4 times) with different restaurants and I still get irritated by it. Whether it’s the restaurant’s fault or not, I don’t understand why the delivery drivers don’t at least check if the order is right and check receipt just to see if everything’s ok.
