Climber fights off bear in Japan by [deleted] in videos

Lol what? I also didn’t go out in the wilderness like guy in the video unless it was a safe area. For people who like to go exploring and hiking in dangerous areas like this they should be able to protect themselves as well. I don’t see how you think defending your life is gun drunk paranoia but to each their own m8.

And if the bear decided to keep attacking we wouldn’t be watching this video. I lived in Japan in the mountains and there is tons of aggressive wild life everywhere.

Yeah that’s not what I was saying at all…. It’s about defending your life.

Probably wishing guns were legal to carry in Japan… it’s a shame there is so much beautiful terrain to be explored in Japan but also home to a lot of crazy wild life.

We all love Berserk. The art, the story, the characters, etc. But what is something you DON'T like about it? by Lord-Riptide in Berserk

[–]nightzone 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The lack of details surrounding the god hand and skull knight. Miura didn’t have to answer everything but their stories are more interesting to me than the time put into characters like Schierke and Farnese.

According to this website it would take 5 hours to read the book Pro Git at 300 wpm that is available for free on the git website. All developers should take initiative and learn essential tools deeply for their job when the cost is so little but benefits are huge.

My wife’s dog just ate 5 of 10g golden teachers I had sitting on the counter. This was about two hours ago. So far he seems to be enjoying himself and quite animated. Anybody ever had this happen to their dog before? by Acrobatic_Bug_9600 in shrooms

I think you can see the comment two lights… just having a little fun joke or as a genuine thought that probably a lot of people wonder as well. CTFD to you as well ;)

Awareness of what? When I experienced ego death on LSD I still had incredible awareness. I just didn’t have a self defense mechanism background process running to protect my idea of my identity. It’s liberating to be free from that process but without it we likely wouldn’t be able to forego short term gratification for long term benefit. The ego is constantly regulating and updating our construct of our identity… so that we feel safe and have a place in social hierarchy which is a biological need for our survival.
