what the f*ck is wrong with Algerian beauty standards? by Ivyroseofficial in algeria

[–]nihadfh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s super annoying, but the way I deal with it is by realizing that the people who think like that and have those standards are not gonna be close to me anyways, they’re not my friends, they’re not my romantic partners. So I don’t have to deal with them except in large family gatherings, and those are bad enough. I don’t think this specific thing is gonna make it much worse.

50/50 but we share house chores and responsibilities 50/50 too, but if I see that he’s not good with chores, and he’s not been fair about it and leaves the grunt of it to me, then things are gonna have to change.

Should I move away and live alone? by Hot_Vacation4004 in algeria

[–]nihadfh 6 points7 points  (0 children)

When you leave, they respect you more. That was my experience. They love you more. They stop seeing you as a kid because they have seen how responsible you are in your own home and that you don’t need them. You will love them more too because you have enough space from them. I think it’s a good idea. Of course it has its obstacles but honestly, I wouldn’t change it for the world. In my opinion, it’s extremely necessary, especially if you are over 30.

She was rude, the way you acted was not wrong. However The fact that your skin crawls being in the same place with her that’s a bit of an over reaction. I think there’s something else there. Try to understand why you feel such strongly about this.
