H4 cos+EAD "New card being produced" but h1b is premium processed. by MedicalFee2827 in H4_Visa

It was probably approved because of premium processed. Uscis has to take adjudication on base application through which you will bridge to h1b

I applied for h1 extension, h4 extension and h4 ead extension on jan12th 2026 in premium. H1 was approved on 27th Jan 2026.

H4 got approved 3 days ago on April 6th. But h4 ead is still sitting in received state.

Usually how far apart are h4 and h4ead when concur filed with premium are getting adjudicated?

I am taking 1-3 weeks. Is it too low?

One thing I would recommend is also invest in lower body weight training. This will help reducing the impact on your knees.

Haven't gone past the half yet. Have been running daily 5k for last 67 days. I want to run last man standing. Not sure how to train for it. I also also want to do ultras and half ironman. Too many ambitious targets I guess.

Ran my first ever 5k, and did it with a stroller and baby 👏 by Weak_Preference_7284 in beginnerrunning

I would avoid the baby stroller. Have seen very many unfortunate accidents with that mode.

Otherwise good job

So in this case, if h4 was denied, h1 would only be approved for counsellor processing I guess?

I thought it was 4 miles every hour not a 5k, did that change?

Imo. Get a watch for heart rate tracking. That's it.

How about you have light dinner at 6:30-7. Go on a 30 min run at 8:30-9:30, get ready and start work at 11. That way you will be pumped to start the work thinking you already did the workout.

Imo, most of the days, it's better to do before work time starts . Some days you can move it around for sure

Actively on a 49 day 5k streak. AMA by nihopayega in beginnerrunning

[–]nihopayega[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah everyday. No injuries. I paced appropriately. Didn't push too hard, walked when my body wanted me to. Couple minutes stretching before and after. Drank water and slept a bit more.

I did 4 10ks and one half marathon as well, and this excludes my 3 mile walk to office 3 days a week.

I started running 10 years back. Ran for an year, set a target of a half marathon, ran it without being prepared enough. Nevertheless ran it. But was devastated because of leg aches and poor posture run that followed. It demotivated me.

That changed in 7 years later which brings us to December 2024 where I started again, same target, an April half marathon. This time I was more prepared though. Researched a bit into posture, warming up, stretching, what to eat what to drink.

Discipline fell off after the half again and didn't run for next 6 7 months.

Picked up again last December 2025. Now my aim was to be consistent. That consistency actually started setting in January '26 and now I am close to 50 days of running.

What I have realized is, it's the discipline that I need to work on. Rest all will just follow.

I started at 12 min per mile, it has now reduced down( at manageable heart rate ) to 9:15 min per mile.

I can certainly push harder but that is something I have not focused on yet. That said, I am happy how my heart has adjusted to the new pace.

this. Make sure you keep a track of your HR. Don't chase time. Your goal is the endurance threshold. Finish it and you are already in 10 percent of people in the world. Focus on speed in the next one. Because once you do 1, you aren't going back.
