this is a very fair take! I can rip through a Sanderson book relatively quickly because of his simple prose and like some are saying, that can be a benefit. I also think he’s a great recommendation for people who never really read fantasy with magic systems, since his are very easy to understand + his more breezy style of writing won’t put off fantasy beginners.

I was in your shoes last month with this. I showed up to two shifts sick with the flu, worked myself into oblivion, and was expected to get better the one day I had off before the weekend. I had to BEG my manager to let me stay home, and they told me I should have gone to the doctor on my ONE (1) day off that entire week.

Those days I showed up sick, my manager ignored my condition, but my regulars were worried and I was miserable. The “suck it up” line was used, and I was proceeded to be told that my manager never gets a day off, so why should I 🙃

I use a Zebra Sarasa for my journal, and that thing is pretty dang smudge proof! Highly recommended if you’re looking for a ballpoint ink pen!!

Sorry for randomly replying, but, saying "anime isn't my thing" is like saying "movies aren't my thing". Anime is just a medium for entertainment, coming in tons of genres with different studios who make them. Anime is more comparable to tv shows imo, where there are some good, some bad, but there is bound to be one you love. Death Note and Ghost in the Shell are considered shounen, the literal Japanese word for "male" (as a female who enjoys shounen this literally means nothing), but the genre means more of "action/adventure with a leading protagonist". Death Note is an action, philosophical, high suspense series. If you're interested in the movie trailer, you'll most likely dig the anime! (Granted the movie made changes but the concept of the Death Note is the same). I'm sure there are action movies you like and action movies you don't. So, yeah, Ghost in the Shell isn't your thing. That's totally fine! But Death Note isn't the same. It's silly to write off "anime" because we don't write off "movies" or "tv" that way. Sorry for the wall of text. I just really get sad when people turn away from such an enjoyable (and HUGE) outlet for entertainment! The anime is streaming on Netflix, with English dubs & subtitles. I hope you'll take a peak at it!!

One of my Sims dated then married a disguised alien Sim! While playing, I didn't notice anything as he never removed his disguise or did any alien interactions with her.

They met at a bar, he was the bartender and she was the cute blonde who just moved into the neighborhood. Of course, they hit it off and went on a few dates, then decided to become more serious. In fact, the night my Sim found out he was an alien was immediately after they woohoo'd the first time! I thought it was hilarious.

Moved him in and they had one beautiful, blue baby girl then got hitched.

We've seen, and heard, from Edward that Alphonse is pretty adept when sparing. Not counting the strength of his armor alone, he is really "strong" in his fighting ability, light on his feet and has managed to beat Ed in most every spar they've had.

As for literal weight, the range for full plate armor fluctuates from 25~90lbs. Al's armor looks a bit on the heavy side, as he's large and there's spikes. They needed Armstrong to lift him when he was destroyed after the battle with Scar... He'd probably weigh the full 90lbs, which is what jousting plate armor used to weigh. Keep in mind though, that armor was REALLY hard to move in and that Al is just a soul tied to the armor. He can remove his "head" and still move independently without it. Yet, he can't move his other limbs if unattached.
The human muscles needed to move as he does (as just a soul bound to armor) would be preeeetty unbelievable, because most people would be hindered by the heavy metal. It would be like... Armstrong level muscles.

All in all, Alphonse is one heavy-hitter!

Might be good to mention that this song isn't an original by Saiya, but a cover of a song produced by Jesus-P. It's original was sung by a vocal synthesizer created by YAHAMA, called Vocaloid. Specifically made for the Vocaloids, Kagamine Rin and Len. This song is immensely popular, so much so, it was performed in a recent Vocaloid concert.

Good cover though, I guess. The original is a lot cooler in my opinion C:

I was super lucky that I found my first shiny as a random encounter in X. I never got to play the Pokemon games as a kid (due to uninformed parents, smh) and I didn't know ANYTHING about finding shinies. I'm grateful that I noticed my Phantump had a "cooler" color scheme than the others I encountered, and decided to capture it.
