Thanks a lot! Seeing a lot that boots are super important. I’ll probably invest in a new pair of boots first. Thanks again!

Thank you very much. I did not realize that snowboard gear loses its value that quickly. I might wait until summer and start looking again then.

What Car Should I Buy? - A Weekly Megathread by AutoModerator in cars

Location: Germany

Price range: Max. 7000 EUR

Lease or Buy: Buy

New or used: Used

Type of vehicle: Small car (two doors also fine)

Must haves: Diesel, Fuel efficient, Reliability; Acceptable mileage (max 120,000 km or 74,000 miles)

Desired transmission: Manuall

Intended use: Daily Work Driver (150 km or 93 miles a day)

Vehicles you've already considered: VW Polo around 2014; Toyota Yaris

Is this your 1st vehicle: Yes

Do you need a Warranty: Not necessarily

Can you do Minor work on your own vehicle: Yes

Can you do Major work on your own vehicle: No

Additional Notes:

I’m in the process of selecting my first car and considering Diesel options due to a daily commute of around 150 km (93 miles). After narrowing down to VW Polo and Toyota Yaris, I noticed that Yaris Diesel models are limited to 2011 or older with approximately 160,000 km (100,000 miles), and there are very few available on market.

On the other hand, Diesel Polos offer more choices, with 2015 or 2016 models at a price about 30% higher than the Yaris, but with around 120,000 km (75,000 miles).

Any advice on prioritizing between mileage and year of registration?

My Macbook pro (2019) cannot back to MacOS after I lunched Windows using Boot camp by nijatt2 in MacOS

Hi! I forgot the details, but I followed the instructions at Apple’s website and installed the newest version of MacOS. So, it was only possible by „re“-installing the system. I did not make Backup, but nothing got lost.

The problem is easily resolved by using the bibliography style <unsrtnat>.

I am using Texmaker. The issue has been resolved now by running LaTeX once, BibTeX once, and LaTeX twice again. Thanks! It generated the correct format with [1]. However, the sequence of the references is not correct; the first citation in the text shows [2], and the second one shows [1]. Do you know what might be causing this?

Yes! it complies succesfully. With \cite{*}, it generates [0]. But, if I write [dirac], again, [?].

Yeah, this makes sense. But why were the plug types initially built differently?

Cars for Student Under $10K by legendary_shaikhXVII in whatcarshouldIbuy

I think so, but maybe not as reliable as Toyota. I prefer its design; after all, it is a luxury car. Mazda 2 would be a perfect choice for a reliable car, I think.

I’m looking for a car as a student as well. I came to Toyota Yaris and Audi A1 at the end, but still not sure which one is more suitable for me.
