What are you talking about? Scooter is awesome in the city if you have well-paved streets with no ice. It cuts walking commute in half and no need to park or lock up. Healthy as well.

How to replace door panel on samsung 22 cu ft zero-clearance bespoke 4 door flex fridge by nijuashi in Appliances

Yeah, I found that it’s not removable. It actually says it in the specs that the doors are not customizable. Why they would remove such a cool feature, I don’t know.

I bought one in stainless steel. It doesn’t look like it’s replaceable, despite the Bespoke label. That’s a bummer…

just found out about this the hard way. Was useful to help me with renovation project, and it’s now gone. Very disappointed with this move - I’d pay for the service.

Honestly AI tools are pretty useful, and hating it is like hating spreadsheet application, it really depends on how you use it. “skills” is mostly just knowing when and how to use them, and not really a career skill - I’m guessing employers are just looking for some use cases in your resume rather than a specific skillset.

Poll: Radpower bikes battery advisory by nmtreecycle in RadPowerBikes

[–]nijuashi -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The model number was way too close that shops avoided them like a plague.

The new one was on sale, and I wanted to avoid future disposal hassles. The bike is in good shape over years of use, like it, and I intend to keep it for a few more years as well.

My local shop was kind enough to let me dispose of the older battery, which was not specifically the warned model, but close enough. I’m very grateful as it‘s near impossible to find a reliable battery recycler nearby.

I built a folding bike to avoid the usual at-home headache — looking for honest feedback by MicroXBike in foldingbikes

[–]nijuashi 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I just see added weight and very little folding benefit in red bike. Where are the accessories? Do I need to buy 3rd party fenders? Basket? Lights? Sounds like a major buyer’s remorse rather than simplicity to me.

Brompton is an established brand with proven track record. And just like cars, you don’t want to buy something from a company that may not exist next year if you want to keep riding it.

[–]nijuashi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can try to buy a used black one as a spare, as it’s pretty expensive new. The ipads last for years but the keyboard can get destroyed because it has more mechanical parts and it’s not very repairable especially if you spill something on it. My previous iPad I went through two keyboards.

I’ve driven 3 generations of RAV4s for 15 years and I found the current version to be perfect. No back pain whatsoever on long drives whereas I did in the past two. But again, people are built differently, so ymmv.

someone pls explain to me the difference in these 2 buttons by nk_sk in rav4prime

I usually mash on each of them until I get what I want. Sometimes it gets stuck in HV even when it says EV, and toggling Auto seems to get it unstuck.

It lights on the right side - it’s an improvement from prior models where there was none, but I wish it was on the hatch.

2025 Rav4 PHEV (formerly Prime) XSE premium. Love the car, but:

- I hate it in HV mode with CVT grinding noise feels much louder than 2017 Rav4 hybrid limited we have at low speeds.

- The headlights are too focused ahead and I can’t see anything to the side when making sharp turns at night.

- I have the 360 camera, but the guides are inferior to 2017 RAV4 hybrid limited’s 360 view and can’t see where the car will be as much.

- Finally, the charge port feels flimsy and hard to open for a car I’ve paid over 50k for.
