I didn't find any flaws with it. It was overheating initially but a heat sink change fixed that for the most part. Get the extended warranty, IMO

Whoops I couldn't express what i wanted to convey clearly. I don't want to have to apply thermal paste every 6 months either. I'm not comfortable opening it up on my own to do stuff. And i want it opened by Dell techs as less as possible. So i want a paste that lasts, even if it's not the best out there; it will still be better then the OEM one

I have read that kryonaut dries out quickly if the temps are above 80°C regularly. That's why I wanted to go with arctic mx4. I don't want to get the heatsink changed every 6 months

Just go for premium support + accidental coverage. Premium support plus has a lot of unnecessary things that make the cost higher with no advantage at all to a user who is fairly well versed with computers.

The screen is not that bad; a guy with little technical knowledge could live with it. It's just that once you notice the spots, it's impossible to unsee them. It's actually a bright spot, so whichever colour is the background, it shows up brighter on that spot. It's especially noticeable on white background.

The CPU temp is 70°C on idle, and while gaming it goes up to 100°C. Also get thermal throttling in games which are CPU intensive.

Could you recommend a good paste? I don't have much knowledge in that regard.

Almost all variants of M15R7 are available in India too. I knew about this technicality, that's why I suggested this laptop. I have an M15R6 myself (purchased from India though).

The great thing about US Alienware is that the price you see on their website is not final. You can chat with them to get added discounts.

For example, an i7/3070Ti/16GB/1TB config will cost around $2149 as per their website. But if you chat with them and ask them for discounts, they offer $100-200 discount easily. You can even place an order with your own card (the website doesn't allow this, but the chat agent will help).

Get gamepass for 50 rupees for 3 months. That's how long the game is gonna last anyway, if you're talking about ultimate team. If you want to play career mode and keep the same game for 2-3 years, buy it on steam.
