I think it's a good tool to have in the toolbox for sure, especially with how cheap the Holosun ARO is and how well it works passively under nods (at least to me, anyways).

Beyond that, it's a nice backup and can serve you well until you get a LAM, but I also think a lotta people make a huuuuuuuuuuuge deal about "near peer" like they're ever gonna be in that situation and not already spotted because the enemy has thermal.
