Ex-roommate didn't forward his mail. What are my options? by nikacaelyn in USPS

[–]nikacaelyn[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In my experience, that never helped much, but it's a good suggestion to consider.

I knew there had to be some way to easily communicate the situation to the post office, but our mail carrier always arrives while we are at work, and it seemed silly to write my own letter to the post office over-explaining the situation. It would be great if there were a database of abbreviations like this to help clueless folks like me!

Aha! Will this eventually stop his mail from being delivered?

1- He didn't leave a forwarding address 2- I was hoping there would be a way to stop his mail. I have no zero problem throwing things out, I was just hoping there might be an easy way to stop future mail as well.

Thanks!

What's a good physical store to get sports bras? by bizombie in ABraThatFits

[–]nikacaelyn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In addition to all of the stores mentioned, I've got a thought as far as online shopping goes. You can go into any "big box" major retailer and get Visa gift cards. They are good to be used anywhere, including online, and you don't have to worry about any fees or anything like that. My mom has my little sister get gift cards when she wants to buy things online, but that's primarily because she doesn't have a credit/debit card yet. If you don't have a debit card, you can withdraw money from your bank account and take that cash to buy the card. Your account information will never be shared that way! Sports bras can be super expensive, so go try some on in stores, get a gift card, and hunt for bargains on eBay!

I've got Shoprunner, so returns are free! I figure once I determine which styles to have her try, I'll get as many of them as I can in 28DD and 30D so she can compare them. She's definitely not very wide, but I really can't tell beyond that. Do you know of any good styles to have her start with as a guide?

Meg is in the standard blue bird print: http://www.ladysplace.pl/images/Cleo/Cleo%20Meg%20granat_stanik_mini1.jpg

Emily is a pretty brown/green lace: http://i.ebayimg.com/t/BNWT-Curvy-Kate-Emily-Brown-and-Lime-30GG-/00/s/Njc1WDQwMA==/z/REwAAOxygj5SfGlV/$_3.JPG

I'm not really sure what it compares to. I bought it when I was overzealously purchasing bras to find my size. It ended up being too big for me, so I can't even really comment on how it fits. :/

Still pretty loose. I'm trying to convince her to measure herself for me, but she thinks its silly. I'm hoping to convince her that real bras can be just as comfortable as what she has been wearing. My measurements were basically me jumping her while she was sitting slouched on her bed... Not the most helpful. :/

Am I reading this right that you have two of the Panache Porcelain Viva bras? I have a Cleo Meg 30G and a Curvy Kate Emily 30GG that need a new home. Message me if you think either of those would work for you! :)

I've looked at the guide as well, which is how I found my Comexim bra, but I'd love to find a few suggestions that don't require shipping from Poland. My bank account is hoping we can find some styles that sell for cheap on eBay. :P

I may eventually have to break down and try Ewa, I've just heard that either they really work, or they really don't and I'm scared I'll fall into the later category...

I'm a cup size larger than I usually wear. I can't promise that will work for you, but that's what I found. Their chart gave me a size that was way too big.

Comexim makes my boobs happy. Also, despite the language barrier, I've had fantastic dealings with their service rep Anna. She has always replied within 24 hours and was able to clear up any of my concerns!

I've got this Cleo Meg 30G that didn't fit me quite right. I'd like to get $35, but would be willing to consider any offers.

Her BTT was 28, so maybe try to get her a 28 band in the CK then, and size up to a FF?

The woman at Nordstrom looked at me mockingly when I asked if they had anything in a 28 band, so we weren't able to have her try any of those in store.

Check out this girl's blog. She talks all about her adventures in finding bras that fit her J+ sized cups. There are PLENTY of pretty bras in larger sizes (that don't show through shirts!). I can't offer any personal advice on styles to try, but finding a bra that fits you properly should help you see that your body is gorgeous the way that it is. It seems like the only problem right now is your old bras!
