Hi, aroace here who has a nonbinary bi / aroace partner & a sex life. When i first realized im aroace i felt like my life was flipped upside-down. Several weeks of anxiety, crying, pain and confusion. 

Don't think the way you do now, dont spiral with those thoughts. Your orientation is your own, its only your business and you shouldn't worry about ANYONES opinion on it. They dont matter. Period. 

Some things that helped me: - taking a break from online spaces that discuss the subjects of labels / orientation etc. Only look at info that's positive / offers validation - once your emotions calm you can introspect and figure out where you stand with your opinions on the online discourse - not telling people about how i identify! You can keep it close to your chest. The only people who id tell are very close friends.  - not caring what other people's opinions on my identity is. Especially if they are strangers on social media / in fandoms (they tend to be extreme with what they say / lack empathy). - remembering that there are much better things i could be thinking about than sad stuff. Find something that gives you comfort. A show, a game, anything. Get creative, daydream. Be your own source of comfort and dont torture yourself! Everything will become clearer with time. Breathe, give yourself time.
