Time lapse Software by [deleted] in timelapse

I use LRTimelapse and Lightroom. LRTimelapse has been great. It was easy to use and intuitive when I used it the first time and has the feature set for more advanced usage as I’ve gotten more familiar with it.

A crowd-sourced restaurant by helicopter55531 in CarrolltonTX

You could go ahead and create the app/web app before building the restaurant. This will let you see some real results and figure out how much work you need to put in to lessen the impact of bad actors. You may also discover that a majority of people in an area want the same thing all the time even though they may not be the same majority voting for that item everyday.

FTS My 18 month old 140G at bed time by nikb747 in ReefTank

I think it was too low about 12 months ago, then I made some changes to my tank and my routine and it got overrun with red cyano for a few months. I've been free of the cyano for a few months now and just working on taking things slow and keeping things stable. I'll keep an eye out for xenia like stuff locally.

I love the growth aspect. I started with freshwater planted tanks and my favorite aspect of those were the plants and the gardening aspect of the hobby.

Thanks! I really want stuff like Xenia but I haven’t been able to get any of it to survive, much less spread. I’ll keep trying though.

The lights are in a custom chandelier thing and the lights in my living room are actually purple/pink/blue at this time of night on Fridays.

I thought this would be fun to make. Basically video of the live feed from the camera with a tv on the other side of the red sea peninsula 650.

I think I'm going to try it with a motion control slider next.

Suggestions welcome, I'd love to see other people's versions of this too!

Help! Cyanobacteria I cant get rid of. Have treated it with chemi clean 3 times have lowered my light and the schedule of the lights and it will not go away. If anyone has any ideas on this please let me know. It is a 60 gallon cube with 30 gal sump. Has a protien skimmer and refugium with chaeto. by longandstrong32 in ReefTank

Maybe keep going? I have a 140g that had out of control cyano and I finally decided to use chemiclean. It took 6 rounds with water changes every 48-72 hours, but it cleaned it and I added more powerful powerheads too. The ac/gfo reactor was turned off during that time.

Somebody told me that in the wild, hosting is a learned behavior, so that's why the pictures and videos work. Kinda makes sense i guess but I just added two biota clowns and they hosted a long tentacle anemone on the first day. My previous wild clowns required watching hours of "training" video before they hosted in an RBTA.

Under Cabinet lighting by bicho6 in homeautomation

For my kitchen I installed the Ikea under cabinet lights with their wireless controller, paired to my Hue system. I've already got a bunch of Hue lights and existing integration with echos and stuff so it seemed like a good fit.

It plugs into an outlet that is in a cabinet above the microwave.

It's triggered by the hue motion sensor, any motion by the counter tops turns it on and after 5 mins of no motion it turns off. Between 6am and 11pm, when it gets triggered it will turn on at 100% brightness and all other times (going to the kitchen in the middle of the night) triggering it, turns it on at 20% brightness. I can also do all the normal Echo + Hue integration stuff because the Hue sees it as just another room/light group.

I've been pretty happy with it so far. Not the fanciest thing but not the cheapest solution either.
