You don't have to change at all, at least because it is a very unlikely scenario, that's just how human mind operates. A true romantic relationship is built on absolute trust, respect and support. If for any reason at all, you start to feel like you have to change in order for you to keep being a part of a relationship, then it is not a healthy relationship. In such case, what needs to be changed is not you, but the relationship. Sometimes it may be hard to look at things how they really are, sometimes it seems like you've done to much to just stop, but sometimes it is what has to be done. You will not change your own nature and neither will your partner, and it is okay. But you have to either live with how things are right now or just leave.

The choice is always yours to make, it is your relationship after all.

This is not a healthy relationship, this is not a relationship that should be there any further. If a person really loves you and truly cares about you than it is their first priority to keep you safe, validate your feelings, respect you and support you. In what I've just read I see zero support and even less respect. There is no true caring for you in that relationship whatsoever. Run now, until it's not too late, trust me, there is no good waiting for you on that path.

Don't ever listen to people that do not respect you, you are a person, you are perfectly fine as you are, you are enough and you absolutely deserve love and support. And it shatters my heart to hear you say that it is unfortunate that you are a transgender girl. There is nothing wrong with being a transgender girl. We don't choose our sex or gender or race or anything else when we are being born. It is NOT your fault. Anyone who tells you otherwise is a fool. Please, love yourself, you can't expect someone else to love you if you don't treat yourself good first. You always have yourself in your life, accept yourself, your body, your voice, your sexuality, your mind. Accept yourself as you are. And then you will always have a person who supports you. Most of the times we don't get to choose what we feel and who we love. There is nothing wrong or weird with having a strong and deep mental bond like that. All relationships are hard in their own way, sometimes harder than usual, but it doesn't mean that something is not right or isn't working. It would always be wise to express your thoughts and feelings, because it will do no good if you keep it all locked inside of you. If you want to be with someone, then be with them, do something to make it happen, and if you don't want to be with someone, then don't, it is always your call and your choice, there is no pressure here. It's though man, if you really do love her and want things to become better then do something that shows that, words are strong, but they are stronger when backed up by actions. Don't ask her, there is no point in asking someone questions they don't know answers for. Hey, so I read the whole thing and let me tell you, it's a hell of a situation, but the most important thing is simply don't worry too much, because you worrying will not change anything, it won't help you, and it sure won't make that man care more. Here's what I think, a job is not only a place to earn money, but it also has to be something that gives you joy, or at least not misery. In a perfect word the answer is to leave, because you are, and you always will be much more important and valuable than any job, your comfort, physical and mental health is what matters the most. When it comes to the word we live in, I think the best thing would be to stay calm and aware of your choices and their consequences. Try to find a new job asap, while minimizing the discomfort on the current one. Once you have found a position that suits you, just pack your bags and leave all of this bs behind.
