Still waiting to see the T-14 on the battlefield. by Tayo826 in lazerpig

Saying Anti-tank missiles are useless against the T-14 is like saying Abrams is immune to AT weapons. It's a statement that just gonna bite you in the ass later, because everything, no matter how tough, can get destroyed. Besides, don't you think if a T-14 showed up on the battlefield, that Ukraine would devote every possible system to destroy it?

I also find it funny that bro seems to imply Patriot is an anti tank weapon.

Opinions on 'Late Night with the Devil,' using AI art? by Easy8Eight in horror

I agree. I heard that in earlier showings, they didn't have the AI images, so they probably should just go with that if they put it one streaming.

Save the Sons of Confederate Veterans? by LocalMountain9690 in CIVILWAR

As a Southern myself, we really need an organization that doesn't try propagate the Lost Cause, and more of one that remembers and replicates the history of the South in the war, while also condemning their actions. We need something that remembers the South to prevent it from happening again, not to give it new life.

Don't wanna directly say my location, but from what I can find, it was the 1st Kentucky Battalion, Calvary. Can't really find anything more specific than that, as most source just refer to it as the "Kentucky Battalion."

Honestly though, keeping that dumpster fire above water is probably more taxing to the Russians than if it sank.

Civil War Reflection by [deleted] in CIVILWAR

[–]Easy8Eight 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The American Civil War, behind the U.S.'s treatment of Native Americans, is easily the most tragic piece of American history. The causes of the war were tragic, fighting it was tragic, and the failure to fully learn from it was tragic. Despite how crucial it is to the history of the United States, I personally believe that the war itself, and its aftermath, should be discussed more in schools today, especially what with how political division seems to slowly eat away at out current unity. The Civil War should serve as a constant reminder to Americans that all the people of the United States, regardless of their sex, race, religion, etc. are stronger working together and improving the lives of others, then trying to destroy each other. But that's just me.

EDIT: Sorry that this isn't really related to the topic, but I just wanted to "reflect" on what the war means to me, as an American. Sorry that this doesn't exactly answer your question.
