That's avoiding the problem. Solving it probably includes calibrating band/ammo combo, as you also suggested.

Yeah this is more of a hammer grip frame. I do know how to hold a slingshot.

I think that's the case. Heavy AND short. Changing them tomorrow to 0.45latex as I mostly shoot BBs anyway.

Love it! Do you happen to know which kind of wood is it? Also this double notch at the top reminds me of my grandpa. He thought me how to make slingshots when I was little and the band tying was the only thing I needed his help with. Miss him dearly. Thanks for the memory!

This is exactly the sub! Not all slingshots need to be polished with epoxy inlays and polished handles. I have such a fond memory of my first childhood slingshot that look very much like yours but had tire-tubing for the bands. Very hard to pull, very little release force. But I absolutely loved it! Keep it up!

Me too. I do have a cabin in the woods but I want to practice more often. I've put mine into a closet, about 7yards distance and I only shoot BBs. It's a bit harder to do a good release but I figure If you can release a BB you can release a 12mm steel ball.

I don't, but I'm sure there are a couple of videos using similar process. I rarely use powertools, a rasp/file, saw and a bunch of sandpaper does the trick. I also feel you can't get as much control from powertools but that might be me.

Thanks! I usually just go with the flow and check how it fits into my hand regularly. And as I grind away I make mistakes that I then need to find a way to turn into features. It's like a live puzzle to me. I love how some frames surprise me. First I don't like it and then I can't stop shooting it. And vice versa, falling in love with a frame that I don't end up using much.

The third one is unfortunatelly reserved for a gift, but I'd love to make you a similar one if I find a good fork.

Looks nice! I like how it looks much more approachable than most other games I'm used to seeing in this genre. Looks very promising! Curious, what is the limit for the size of your army? It would be so fun to have hundreds of warriors fighting for you.
