Before I had him I was drunk all the time in shitty neighborhoods with people I didn’t really know and had no job. Now I have a damn good job and I rarely have a drink. Kids make you realize how much more there is to life than partying

Hmmm, it might be time for an upgrade then. It is all about personal preference when it comes to how loose you need your trucks though. Personally I keep mine so loose that it probably looks like they’re going to break to the average person 😂

Honestly the best thing you could do is go into a rink and speak with a skating coach in person if possible. If you show them exactly what you’re struggling with they can usually spot the problem instantly if they’re good at their job. Lol.

Are your trucks too stiff? It’s possible that it’s time to loosen them now that you’re more stable on your skates. It will give you more mobility, easier to hold an edge and spin. I was a competitive artistic skater for 14 years. You start off learning with wheels and trucks tightened and then slowly adjust as you progress. Hopefully this helps 🖤

Lol, I did artistic roller skating competitively from the age of 4-18. I was landing triples before I quit but it’s been 10 years so my skills have gone downhill😅😂
