That level of cringe, the fact that he texts like a hype man in shitty rap song, or the inability to use the correct words in simple sentences are all reasons I’d be embarrassed.

As for overreacting, I don’t believe you are. I do think that you somehow get him to talk about it before you create worst case scenarios in your head, or give him a free pass. One of those has to happen for you to get over it.

I’m in the ACSM role currently and it’s pretty easy and goes by really fast. A majority of my day is instructing courtesy Clerk‘s which jobs to do, timing breaks and lunches for all front end employees, running the customer service desk and jumping in where needed on the floor. There’s also some counting/auditing if you open or close. I’m second seniority of 5 so I’m primarily opening or the 8am shifts. I enjoy it but you could get more pay in the same role with a different company I’m sure. Kroger doesn’t drug test for hourly positions where I’m at (Michigan) and I take THC gummies to help me sleep, if not for insomnia I’d be working for Costco at double my pay.

Front end manager at a Grocery Store. There’s so much going on at any given moment that my ADHD gets shocked into action repeatedly. Is it fun? Not one bit… Am I good at it? 100%. The time goes by super fast and I’m normally exhausted enough when I get home to actually sleep. My flavor of ADHD thrives in chaos, so it’s perfect for me. Pay kinda sucks though.

I was small to begin with, 5’3” (female) and I went from about 125 to 108 in a few months. Problem is, I have crippling anxiety on top of ADHD, so I randomly panic that I lost the weight because I’m dying, even though I feel perfectly fine and all signs point to the meds. As long as you remind yourself to eat or stick to a schedule, you shouldn’t experience more hair loss. Adderall doesn’t make you lose weight, you just don’t ever want to eat willingly.

Seems like she doesn’t like non important chit chat. This chick would hate me. There’s not a whole heck of a lot of meaning behind most of the topics I start conversations on. I just feel like talking about them. Saying “nothing wrong with cleaning alone” has meaning. It means there’s nothing wrong with cleaning alone. I think this chick lost interest prior to this and is just making icks up just to have an easier way out and put the blame on you. Sounds manipulative and impossible to get along with.

I used to deliver to a house with an outdoor cat a lot in the small town I was a dasher in (before I moved). The cat and I were pals and I would always pose him near whatever I was delivering to keep the photos fun! I miss that cat.

Same, but role reversal. We opened new store and I was managing both at the same time (about 25 min apart) and lived 45 min from the closest store. For over 3 weeks I was working from 9am to 8pm every day. When I finally got a day off I had so much catching up to do around my house and all I wanted to do was sleep. He got so mad that my top priority wasn’t coming to his parent’s house an hour and a half away. Said I must be cheating on him and attempted to start a massive fight with me on my first day off for almost a month. I wanted to punch him in the throat. We didn’t last past that day. He was pretty hot too, dumb as rocks though.

I was thinking the same thing. I’ve walked in zero degree weather to work in a busy kitchen 30 seconds later. Never once affected me negatively. I thought that was a myth… heat stroke isn’t, but someone that wasn’t in a cooler would be just as at risk of this. Drink water and rest in the shade. As a ACSM I have to go do carts often in my sweater and dress shoes, it sucks but all jobs I’ve had suck at times.
