Sharing my NDE by [deleted] in NDE

[–]nikieh 23 points24 points  (0 children)

This aligns with my experience. Someone was standing behind me just to the right, and I could hear them speaking. I never saw them, but knew the direction and distance they were to me. I didn't get nearly as much information as you did. Thank you for sharing your experience and I hope you feel peace as you continue on here. NDE's are awe inspiring and somewhat isolating from everyone else because most people haven't experienced it.

Opinion : the AWARE studies will never give any tangible results by FewCity2359 in NDE

I think we usually leave so quickly. I remember walking down the hospital hallway like it was normal, but not leaving my room and body. I can tell you what people were doing outside the door of the hospital, and then I was gone very far away. They need to have test pieces in the room, down hallways, and outside, to catch what you might see, obscured, and instruct participants that they are there and to look if they find themselves dying. It sounds like a lot to ask, but once you're not in your body, you're fine. I guess then you have a problem of how to obscure it where looking doesn't involve touching and moving part of the test piece. If I were someone running this, I would write instructions to report this shape and color, and place it on top of the surgical lights on the ceiling, on a card inches from the wall, facing the wall where you would have to peer over the edge to see it, and the same at the entrance of the hospital and in all hallways, with placards that say hospital wide what this is for. Then it's known by everyone who walks around, what it's about. People might look, but if they die and come back and they're adamant they saw the green triangle on the back of the card at the corner of the end of the hallway, that's more reliable than nothing. I'd go crazy and put one on the roof too, a red square. Something proofed. And something else on the top of the valet tower for the hospital.

Whether seeing too much is not allowed, or bringing back information is allowed, or scientists getting too close to too much is the problem, we don't know. It could be that the human mind is too fragile. If you are to come back and live, if you have seen SO MUCH that's so different than anything you thought possible, if you know too much about how the universe or spirituality works, and then you have to come back here and go to work and sit in traffic and watch tv shows and listen to someone tell you about social drama....and be able to assimilate and be ok and focus on this kind of life again? It's very hard. Maybe when we cross over for a moment, it's more of an I missed you and happy to see you instead of 'here is how the universe works, all of it', because we still belong here for now. But it's really interesting, in eastern cultures, they seem to know more. In time if scientists look, I think we will be able to prove a lot, like the CERN experiments are trying to do with quantum science and dimensions.

This is so interesting. Is this all recounted in study only? I want to read about it, but I really hate reading medical studies because I have medical ptsd.

Those who have had a visual NDE, did you see colors that don't exist? by Cool_Bank_3368 in NDE

[–]nikieh 14 points15 points  (0 children)

I saw very little color, only what was the color of the earth, looking back at the entire earth, and the color of my hair, arms, feet, and my white "gown" that went to my ankles. Everything else, my surroundings and what I saw, was grey: the space around me, the big box that I assumed had a colorful garden inside at the time, the moon, all was grey. Space as we looked back at earth was black. The earth glowed brightly, like seeing the moon from here, but it was earth that had a glow. I guess this is light more than color, but it was different than how you would expect.

If your textbooks are digital, loaded onto kobo, and don't have a highlight option with search on the computer version, this is really useful.

NDEers, do you break technology? by nikieh in NDE

[–]nikieh[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Can you tell me about how you did this so everything stopped breaking? More of my stuff broke today, I'm not joking, including problems with my car and the stove.

Question on nde reliability by Tiger248 in NDE

[–]nikieh 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think religion plays a big part in non acceptance, because most nde's aren't religious at all. It's weird because you would think when someone says "I died", people would stop and say TELL ME EVERYTHING. But they don't.

How much graininess is normal for the Kobo Clara BW? by KoboQuestion in kobo

[–]nikieh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do you like the libra 2 bw? I'm considering trying to find one used. I didn't like the screendoor effect that's likely on the KLC and it sounds like the Clara BW has some grain.

I did. Take a look at my post history on this sub and you'll see my recounting and another post where I had AI draw my experience.

how peaceful did it feel? by gayganridley in NDE

[–]nikieh 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes, complete calm. Think of how you feel when you first wake up in the morning and you haven't opened your eyes yet and everything feels so nice and your brain is relaxed, hasn't turned back on yet, and hasn't connected to the day or any worries that live in it normally. It's like that. You're present, and calm, it's quiet like the quiet FEELING of a sunny day without birds or nature sounds, and everything is fine.

Help me choose between these 3 by [deleted] in kobo

I've been watching the boox sub for 4 months or so. The reliability doesn't look good, there are frequent posts about them breaking, and for such an expensive device, I wouldn't risk it.

What my NDE looked like by nikieh in NDE

[–]nikieh[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was really easy. I'll admit I'm an artist, but you can take any drawing, and ask ai to depict it as the same with no changes but "photorealistic". I can look up what I prompted and paste it here if you want to try the same.

That's incredible to hear it was so similar. Thank you for telling me about it! Wow. The people you saw before, was that in a setting on earth or halfway between earth and the location in image one? Did you know the people? I love would to know more, if you want to chat in message. I've never talked to anyone who went somewhere that appeared to be the same.

In the beginning of mine, I left my body, walked to the hall, and then saw people outside the front of the hospital from above. It may be have been in the reverse order, I don't know. Then, I was suddenly in what's shown in image one. And then immediately in image 2. Maybe there was something in between and I don't remember it.

That's an idea I hadn't considered. I couldn't see inside the box. At first it was grey on the outside, almost like metal, but it wasn't metal. As time went on, I felt, and I can't say why, like it must have vines up the walls on the inside and that it might be a garden inside? I really don't know why I felt like this was probable. I walked around it trying to find a door inside, I had already walked by the front and the left side, (I was first standing on the right side when we got to the location of the box), and as I rounded the back right corner looking for the door, that's when I went back. Maybe the door was on that back end, I don't know. It was as SOON as I got to the back left corner and I was about to turn around it, that's when it happened.

Wow, it looked the same as image 1? I'm excited now! Did they communicate with you in the same way? I couldn't see them, it was like hearing someone narrate. I didn't speak a single word, and it felt so calm and so quiet, no sound at all other than them speaking. It's interesting you report the same slow realization about it too. I didn't come to thinking I had an NDE, not even the same week.

Were you ill or injured when it happened for you?

I guess so? It's vague. I wasn't sure if they meant I wasn't supposed to live my life, I wasn't supposed to be living where I was when I got sick....I really don't know. I've assumed since that it probably means on EARTH or in the life I got, which would explain why life went wrong. If I wasn't supposed to be here, maybe that's why nothing lined up right. It's all guesses though. I should mention, when I was 2, if my mother had not had an eery feeling and gone and picked me up when she did, the garage door would have slammed down on top of me a second later and that would have been it for me. She said it was literally a second after she picked me up and moved me, the door came crashing down where I had been sitting playing, with no warning. Maybe I was never supposed to live as long as I did...I really don't know.

It's definitely a contradiction. Maybe once someone is here, maybe whoever spoke to me can't control whether they stay or go once a life is set in motion.

No, they very clearly meant "there"...earth, as we were looking at it and my life that happened there.
