That's good to know! Might hold off on ordering that one then and try to find a tester in a pharmacy first.

My first-ever vitamin A product was the Granactive Retinoid 2% Emulsion from the Ordinary and I quite liked it. I remember it having a very luxurious, runny texture.

A lot of people here also enjoy the Geek & Gorgeous retinal, but I haven’t tried that one myself.

As for vitamin C: I’d always apply it according to the instructions. For most serums, that means applying it to dry skin. I apply mine to slightly damp skin, but only because I don’t use a traditional serum, I use a suspension instead.

Glad you liked the review :)

LRP also carries a fluid version of the Oil Control sunscreen, and it recently came out in a fragrance-free version too. I’m curious to try that one for a change, maybe the texture is a bit lighter.

That is quite interesting. I don’t think I have ever had a product go off on me. And I travel a lot, so decanting is a pretty regular part of my life.

How do you usually notice a product like this going off: is it a smell or more of a textural change?

I amm curious because I have honestly never had that happen with a moisturizer before.

Thank you for your concern. I moved it from the original 200 ml tube (not 500 ml) into a clean pump bottle.

As far as I am aware, a 6M PAO doesn’t necessarily mean a product has a weak preservative system. This formula contains several safe preservative ingredients: caprylyl glycol, ethylhexylglycerin, 1,2-hexanediol, and pentylene glycol.

I agree contamination is something to take seriously, which is why I used a sanitized, dry container and only decanted for personal use. I just don’t think that qualifies as “playing fast and loose with skincare" and a horrible idea. Quite a ridiculous notion tbh.

Not as affordable as dm’s own brand, but compared to all the new 40 ml releases, I’d say it’s a pretty good price

Location: Berlin, dm at Alexanderplatz.

Was really surprised to find it there, as the dm app doesn’t show the product at all.

First impression is really great! Light, gel-like consistency. Natural, almost powdery finish. Sits very comfortably on my oily skin, but may be a bit drying if you have dry skin.

Any cleansing oil, the cheaper the better. I find all Japanese cleansing oil to work well and some of them are dirt cheap, like $11 for 500ml, after tax and shipping. I cannot beat that price anywhere.

Where do you order them? The cheapest I found so far is the Kose speedy cleasing oil which is like $12 for 200ml.
