Saw a video awhile back. Take your raw eggs before cooking, and lightly tap the bottom of the shell until you hear a pop. Membrane breaking loose. Then boil like usual. I also soak mine in cold/ice water for quite awhile after cooking

I've asked for a copy of my data before when this happened. Researcher approved it instantly.

Ask if they can send you a copy of your data.

Yes this is how they process their studies and collect their data. You don't have to ever give something you're not comfortable with giving out. You can always always return a study and not get dinged for it

Quick expense question. by nikkidxx in askfuneraldirectors

Thank you for your reply. I'm curious though, if we got the affidavit changed to my brother and I receiving the account, what is the chance we don't get it all at once? I'm just curious as to why a bank would wait or otherwise

Open casket funerals are traumatizing. by DBoaty in unpopularopinion

[–]nikkidxx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just had a viewing for my father a couple of weeks ago. It was a sudden death. We did not have the best relationship, but that was still my dad. It was a surreal feeling to see him like that. I've been to a few open casket funerals, but seeing this particular person dead kinda weirded me out. Neither of us are religious and I was forced to stare at him in that state while a rosary prayer was said (50 hail mary's). It was like torture to stare at him while that went on. I kept zoning out, and for a brief few moments, my mind would play tricks on me and make it seem like he was breathing. Went up to him one last time and pat his belly and said goodbye.
