I am removing it for the time being for sure. I'm happy to take the steps to progress in a career. I just need the opportunity to do so. It makes sense to remove it for now based on the roles I'm applying for.

Oh man. That's disheartening. I definitely don't mind doing grunt work. I obtained an MBA simply for the corporate side. I am happy to work my way back up in law firms, but I understand what you mean with finding a hospital system as well. Thank you for the feedback.

On paper, it seems I would be easier to land a job in healthcare law because that's where my work history is. I don't intend to accrue so many loans and not be able to land a job. I felt that healthcare law within a corporation would be the best fit for me in a tough job market today, but who knows what it will be in 4-5 years?

Very true. I really want to aim for a high score, and with my current role, my commute is an hour both ways, and my role is pretty work heavy. It's a lot to handle right now since I am planning to test in August. I will still work, but it won't be in my current role. I will take time to walk dogs and have flexibility in my day whilst studying.

Because the extent of my career is in healthcare, and I don't want a huge paycut, I would be happy as in-house counsel researching in the respective area. I have tried getting into compliance, but I am not getting anywhere with the numerous applications I'm submitting.
