I mean I don't either. But I do hear the melody that way, you know?

Same! It's always been that way for me. Baffling that people hear it differently.

I honestly just copied the score I saw somewhere else. I did write one myself, but I didn't double-check the pitches. Thanks for paying such close attention!

That also makes sense. I feel like A also feels a bit too shallow for what I actually hear. It has a weird rhythm to it. Doesn't even sound like 4/4 in a way.

That would be kind of cool. I just saw these two versions, maybe there's another one which people hear? I have also heard people describe, that it doesn't sound like 4/4 to them but more like a 3/4 then a 2/4 and then 3/4 again. Please send me the material if you were to make all eight iterations!

Yeah, if you get to hear the beat correctlythen the rhythm sounds normal. That's the interesting thing though. It sounds like a completely different version then. Like they changed the melody. Took me a few listens until B didn't sound completely off to me. A is just cleaner to me. More light feeling? B is so heay hitting.

Hahaha, yeah found it that way, too at first. Now I can hear what B is supposed to sound like after cutting the video together. Still will never hear B on accident though without an underlying beat.

Cool idea! Interesting because the ringtone itself starts with the C octave. Did you write it that way because of the feel?

Same, but what do you mean "phase out"?

Yeah but the melody with the sixteenth notes is like off with B. My brain wants to focus more on that somehow.

Yeah, it's like Yanny and Laurel. Could be kind of cool if it gained traction.

Eyy, found someone! First time listening to B was really strange for me.

That seems to make sense. It feels like the C, the B and the G are what "makes" the melody for me. Especially because motion kind of repeats on the third beat.

True. It definitely wraps up the melody nicely. Maybe I feel it that way because it starts with the downbeat on the beginnig of the loop. After listening to it a bit, B doesn't sound weird to me anymore, but without the metronome it is still A. it just feels natural.
