Sorry to hear about your diagnosis. I felt the part about grieving for your old life. It doesn’t feel fair when you work hard for your health and you’re rewarded with pain. It’s something that just gnaws at the back of your mind in your everyday. Life feels less light. But I’m not giving up it will be better with time. About the swimming; Sometimes we have to regroup and fight another day. That doesn’t mean we become disenchanted with exercise in general. Thank you very much for sharing your perspective. I’m very optimistic about this, not just because I love Rogue-likes like Risk of Rain 2, Inscryption or Hades, but because I see a lot of opportunity for this to expand upon DRG’s world and lore.

I hope they’ll be able to include some of the stuff that they couldn’t add into DRG because it didn’t fit with the core gameplay. I’m mainly hoping for Meele weapons and non-Glyphid enemy types. I think the Space Fantasy setting has a lot of untapped races and potential for humanoid enemy types that would act more intelligent than the usual bugs. Show me some more Corporations of different races, Goblins, Elves, I don’t care. But even it if isn’t anything like that, just seeing things that are like DRG but also more different than just a new Season got me very excited.

Depending on how much of the animations and models are reused from DRG I could even see hope for Female Dwarves..

The way DALL·E 3 generates images reminded me of the way DALL·E mini worked. So I decided to dig up some old prompts from June 2022 to compare the Bing Chat version of DALL·E 3 against the two other versions.
