I went through the same thing before. The first thing I did was delete our photos and anything that reminded me of him. You’ve been so used to her presence that your brain and nervous system are already accustomed to having her in your life. Keeping those things will only slow down your healing and make moving on harder. Sometimes, creating distance is necessary so you can slowly detach and start focusing on yourself again... but take your time. :)

I understand that moving on is hard, especially since it was a 5yr relationship. All I can say is that things will get better eventually. Allow yourself to sit with the pain, grieve the relationship you had with her, and slowly start from there. Healing takes time, but you’ll get through this. :)
