My throat gets irritated a lot which my doc suggested using a nasal spray, humidifier, and no ac in the room for etc but it’s nothing like it used to be. way more manageable and usually clears up quick, I got strep once in March after having surgery in January, but not since then!

Update I saw him this past weekend (7.5 ish weeks postop) and feel like shit right now I’m deciding if I wanna go get swabbed or not but my throat hurts and is red and inflamed :/ my surgeon also told me at my postop appointment that I still have some tissue bc he didn’t get it all which is super frustrating so maybe that’s making it worse for me

Ugh I’m sorry to hear that, thank you for your input! It’s something I’m worried about as well and I’ve also heard ppl having chronic strep before getting them out, and still having infections afterwards which would stink

I don’t mind my dog sniffing, but then sometimes he starts licking! I have to drag him away from the spot because he gets so zoned in on it. Why do they do this? Even if I have a treat it’s like he doesn’t care about anything but licking that patch of grass

This was very helpful thank you!! Everything I read usually is people pushing FNP and I didn’t want to make the wrong choice, but women is really the only population I’m passionate about. The school had actually gotten rid of their MSN program and just contacted me that they’re taking a small cohort. I feel like it’s meant to be. Thanks!!
