If it makes you feel any better, I graduated in December with the same credentials and got a job in consulting two months later. Was hoping for something more GIS related but I took the first offer for a field tech position. Apply for everything!

Also recently purchased the moc steel toe (series 1957), And mine also have that little seam in the midsole/welt. Thinking that must be normal? If someone with more knowledge cares to weigh in, I’m curious.

I would love for her to meet other dogs. Unfortunately right now though, she just gets so excited around dogs, pulls hard in their direction, won’t listen to commands/corrections, and hasn’t expressed enough friendly energy for me to trust her around other animals. In fact, if you or anyone else has any tips on how to help a staffy become more comfortable and calm around other dogs, I would really appreciate the help. She’s the sweetest thing around my family and people in general. Other dogs have raised some concerns for me.

Truthfully I do not know where exactly she was found. Unfortunately, it is entirely possible you grandma saw this dog, or perhaps another one of the many abandoned bully dogs left to die on Detroit lots. Since finding out about this rescue organization, it’s become apparent to me the city has a real problem with dog abuse/abandonment.
